Why we exist
Before you order, book or sign, you want to know how the company treats the people who came before you. Some are straight with you from the first call to the last invoice. Others surprise you with fees, miss their dates or disappear when something goes wrong.
Reviews help, but only when you can trust them. Many review sites earn their money from the businesses they rate, through paid badges, awards and placements. On Folks Told, businesses cannot pay to remove reviews or change their score.
What we promise
- Reviews written here are read by a person before they are published.
- Reviews are shown as their authors wrote them. Businesses can reply in public, but cannot edit them.
- Businesses cannot pay to remove reviews or change their score.
- Scores are the plain average of published reviews, and the rules behind them are public on How it works.
