“You Are My Kind Of Crazy” is the foundation on which The Band Wanted was built. It is also their first award winning song won with the World Songwriting Awards in 2020. Beginning their journey together as a band in Colorado in 2016. Joshua and Candy Carpenter are the hearts behind The Band Wanted, performing mostly country music made famous by Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde and other popular favorites! Each show is full of energy, leaving the audience wanting more. Their music is strongly influenced by Alison Kraus, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, The Dead South, CCR, and Journey, they bring a wide variety of music to every show. The vision for the band continues to grow with each show and through each audience member. Their dedicated and growing fanbase of Outlaws catapulted them into Atlanta, Georgia - winning yet another award with the International Singer Songwriters Association for Vocal Duo Of The Year in 2023 and again in 2024! Throughout their career they have received several finalist and honorable mentions for their music including their songs “8 Seconds” and “Still Alive”. Joshua and Candy are loved for their harmonies both on and off the stage. Telling stories though music, one song at a time!

The Band Wanted is such a joy to listen to and to experience. Candy and Joshua are REAL people who let in the audience to connect with them and they to the audience. They engage and relate to everyone in the room. But the best part is their great harmonies and fun music. The fact that they love what they’re doing is very evident.

A couple months ago we had the pleasure of seeing The Band Wanted perform. They put on a great show and their stage presence was amazing. I would definitely recommend seeing one of their shows you will not be disappointed.

The Band Wanted is THE band you WANT for your next event! High energy, talented, and SO kind and sweet! They can play upbeat...they can play slow romantic ballads...they can play Country...Heck they can play it all!! And they will... Makes any venue or event a great experience! One of Tombstone's Favorite Bands!!

The Band Wanted makes great music and much more, they care about our little town of Tombstone, Arizona where they call home! Catch them playing at several local venues around Tombstone, Elgin, Sonoita, and surrounding communities. We love them and their music!
