Can't customize it like chrome
Can't customize it like chrome. Does block ads, but until I can customize it the way I need to I'll stick with chrome

Sacrificing startup speed for memory use
I have been using Brave for over a month. It is not a good browser for work use, as it take a horridly long time to load a blank new tab or simply start. However once started, the features are generally nice and it seems to be less of a pig than chome. Chrome migration is easy with Brave. The one big downside is simply the despicable startup time taking ages to load a blank tab.

You can't ignore Brave Rewards or get rid of it.
I saw the data, got excited and installed it. I liked it until I opened a new tab. You don't get your selected home page. You get an annoying advertisement to sign up for Brave Rewards. I wanted to get my home page back so I searched. It said, sign-up, go to settings and turn off Brave Rewards. Great! So, I do. Open a new tab and now I get an annoying "Turn on Brave Rewards" instead of the home page I like to use. If they were so damn busy pushing their own stuff, it would have been good. I'm uninstalling and going back to Chrome
