Just an overall poor experience here
Just an overall poor experience here. I had a couple conversations with one of the guys here, I think it was Justin. He seemed like a solid guy and was patient. That said, the general experience here was brutal. I was quoted a price for a cross border transfer and then had nearly $500 added just for 'border paperwork' which is very clearly part of the shipping process. They also charged 4% credit card processing which is absurd. And they threw in another $400 because the car didn't start when they picked it up (was out of gas - took five seconds to figure this out upon receiving it). Just overall bad business practices - they act like an airline or something. I look forward to their response where they try to tell everyone they told me all about these things in advance (I have the emails and they didn't).

We are so sorry you feel this way. You requested a quote for TRANSPORT, which we sent, with a statement on the quote for TRANSPORT "Here is your quote to ship your vehicle. If you have any questions or need an estimate for Customs to fit your particular situation, please do not hesitate to contact us!" Since vehicles are crossing an international border, there will be customs, and until we know why the vehicle is crossing, we do not know the fees when a quote request is submitted. You let us know the vehicle was being fully imported, we sent you an email with the customs paperwork, and a statement in the email that there is a filing fee for customs. You filled out that paperwork, and sent it back to us. In that paperwork, is a page for payment, and it clearly states there is a 3.99% credit card fee directly above where you put your credit card information, and signed the form. Every fee was given to you, every step of they way, and were seen by you. Also, when the order was placed, you were sent a copy of the order with the total of the transport and customs filing fee on the order. When your vehicle was picked up from your pick up location, your people who were responsible for the vehicle, and released the vehicle to our driver, could not get it to start, so yes the vehicle was inoperable. All of these emails were sent to you during the course of setting up the order.
