I'm new to 3D printing and downloadable files. CGTrader has an impressive variety of items available in all price ranges. I feel product descriptions can be vague. So far, I'm having trouble with just one of the files I bought and downloaded. This is, probably, more my problem than file issues. CGTrader is definitely my recommended source for 3D printing.

As a seller the platform is great. But it happened a lot of time that the client has difficulty to Make a payment by the platform and they reached out me for the issue. I think it needs to be considered for the usability in the future.

Over all the years i bought several 3D models and never had problems with them. For the first time i bought one, which didn't match the description and was unusable for me, so i asked for a refund. The support was fast and helpful and refunded me the money within two days. Problem solved and i'm a happy customer, who will buy furthermore stuff on CG Trader. The only thing i have to complain, the web page is sometimes slow.

One day I bought 3 items separately at the CGTrader. 2 of them was able to purchase successfully. But for 1 item, I cannot finish payment process - the message on the web page said it is 'suspected fraud'. Of course my credit card is OK. And I am not a fraud. So I wrote to support person of the CGTrader on Sunday afternoon. Then I received an email from the support on Tuesday night. I successfully finished my payment process by its advice - clearing the cache and the cookies of the browser. Yes, I know it is a fundamental action when you meet some problem on the web, and it should to be reminded and tried by myself. However I thank the CGTrader to remind me of the fundamental countermeasure with their quick response.

Apart from the taxes and fees this is a great site, but be warned as I have tried to report a scammer and the admin say as it was all not through this site they could do nothing even though he has bad reviews and has opened another account to disguise his intentions.Check out the creator before you buy and pay on credit card or paypal so you can try to recover when the odd seller is out to rip cgtraders off
