Between 5:50 and 6pm three days in a row my parcel was listed as unsafe to deliver. I was at home with the door open all three days and nobody turned up.
Unfortunately it has now been returned to the sender in another country, and they are asking me to pay another $150 in shipping costs (which, of course, isn't their fault).
PLEASE do not use this company if you are sending things.

Zero stars
I would give DAI Post zero stars if I could. Package was delivered to a random bush on another street and even then I was only able to gain a photo of where it was actually delivered by raising the issue with DAI since they did not provide it upon notification of "delivery". Extraordinarily poor service. I had ordered from ASOS, who uses this substandard courier via Evri in the UK.

Why companies use this service is beyond me....
Ordered from a company that I thought was AUS based but was in the UK. The parcel was handed over to these clowns over a week ago. They attempted to deliver to a business address on a Saturday night, despite me giving the seller delivery instructions that we are Mon - Fri, 8-4. Took two days to get an info from them. Was then told they didn't have the instructions and couldn't find the building. I gave the instructions again, including the delivery hours and they claimed they attempted delivery at 7pm that night - but the CCTV shows they did not. Was promised delivery the next day, and the customer service rep claimed it was definitely on the truck but they didn't deliver and again claimed they had attempted delivery. CCTV again proves otherwise. Have requested further updates without reply. I need the goods by today and bought them in plenty of time but will have to travel without them. Dreadful service

Don't do DAI, pay extra, use Fedex or DHL
Package received in australia but held up at customs. Provided all information to DAIPost and advised package to be released with auspost tracking number. Month later, no tracking details, no package, never delivered. Just disappeared with no tracking information. After numerous follow ups (as no tracking information lodged with Auspost) it's floating around somewhere in customs but can't be found. Then finally advised package damaged and won't be delivered. No photos, no evidence, and they send me off to get a refund from seller. It is now 4 months on... good luck with that. Terrible service, terrible communication. Would have preferred package delivered as would have had photographic evidence.

Won't deliver to Parcel Collect address at local Post Office
Had an order from eBay arriving from US split into 2 parcels to be delivered to a Parcel Collect number at my local post office. The first one arrived just fine, but the one being handled by DAI Post couldn't be delivered. The guy on the phone told me that Australia Post won't accept it but I know that's a lie because as I said the first parcel was received just fine. This is entirely to do with DAI Post's policies, and they're trying to blame it on Australia Post. Unacceptable.

My parcel travelled 12,000km from the United States to Sydney perfectly. The only part of the trip that went wrong was the last 20km with DAI Post.
If you ever see your parcel being handed to DAI Post, do yourself a favor, light some candles and start emotionally preparing for a journey.
I bought unique and fairly expensive car part from the US through eBay. The parcel travelled perfectly fine internationally via FedEx and DHL… and then unfortunately the final leg landed in the hands of DAI Post.
This is where the adventure began.
16 Feb 2026
Parcel shipped from the US.
Everything moving smoothly.
4 Mar 2026 – 4:40 PM
Tracking suddenly updates to:
“Delivered in a safe place.”
Interesting… because my security cameras show absolutely no delivery vehicle entering my cul-de-sac between 4:30–5:00 PM. Not even someone walking down the street.
So according to the tracking, the parcel was delivered.
According to reality… not even close.
I submitted an enquiry through the DAI Post website.
Response: absolutely nothing.
5 Mar – Phone Call #1
I call and speak with Fretzie.
Fretzie tells me she’ll contact the driver and review the delivery footage to see where the parcel was left.
Sounds promising.
About 10 minutes after the call I get an email thanking me for my time. Great.
I reply explaining again:
• No courier entered my street
• Cameras confirm no delivery
• Tracking still shows delivered
Then I wait.
No reply.
5 Mar – ~3:00 PM – Phone Call #2
I call again and speak with another lady whose name I unfortunately couldn’t understand.
After verifying my details she tells me there’s an update.
Apparently the parcel is still with the driver and wasn’t actually delivered.
So now we have:
Tracking: Delivered
Reality: Still on the truck
Even better, she tells me the parcel will return to the returns office, and I can either:
• pick it up myself
• or pay for another delivery attempt
Let that sink in.
They didn’t deliver it… but I might have to pay for them to try again.
I had to end the call because I was looking after my daughter, but she assured me they would update me.
They didn’t.
9 Mar – 11:00 AM – Phone Call #3
I call again and speak with Caroline.
Caroline tells me the parcel will go back to the returns facility, and the tracking will update so I know when to collect it.
I also asked why I’d be charged for another delivery attempt when no delivery was ever attempted.
She explains that’s company policy.
Fantastic policy.
10 Mar
Tracking finally updates to:
“Your parcel’s arrived at the returns facility. Awaiting further instructions.”
Progress.
So I send another enquiry asking:
• where the depot is
• when I can collect the parcel
12 Mar
I receive an email from Jeanette Mangumpit saying the parcel is at the Padstow returns facility and I can collect it.
Great.
Except…
no address.
No pickup time.
Just “Padstow”.
13 Mar
I receive a generic no-reply email from DAI Post saying:
“Busy day? Looks like we missed you.”
No you didn’t.
You never came.
The email says the parcel is ready for pickup and includes a “Get Directions” link.
I click it.
It opens Padstow railway station.
Apparently my parcel was waiting for me at the train station cause it didnt have an opal card
-TODAY-16 Mar 2026 – 10:00 AM – Phone Call #4
At this point I just want the address.
I call again and speak with Shaun.
After 30 minutes on hold, Shaun finally gives me the depot address.
So I take time off work and drive:
40 minutes there
40 minutes back
To collect a parcel that was supposed to be door-to-door delivery.
The grand finale
When I finally receive the parcel…
The box is absolutely destroyed.
Crushed and beaten like it came from the demolition site.
Thankfully the rare car parts inside survived.
But the story doesn’t end there.
At 12:55 PM the same day, after I had already driven there and collected the parcel myself, I finally receive an email from Jeanette Mangumpit saying:
“Hope all is well.
We are pleased to inform you that your parcel is now available for collection at
Parcel Right – 15 Davies Rd, Padstow NSW.”
Fantastic.
So after two weeks of emails, phone calls, tracking investigations, and physically rescuing my own parcel, they finally managed to send the address…
three hours after I had already picked it up.
So to summarise my “delivery experience” with DAI Post
I received:
• A fake delivery scan
• Zero delivery attempt
• Emails disappearing into the void
• Multiple phone calls with Fretzie, Caroline, Jeanette and Shaun
• A pickup link that sends you to a train station
• Taking time off work to drive across Sydney and rescue my own parcel
• A destroyed box when I finally got it
If you ever see DAI Post handling your shipment, light a candle and say a prayer.
You might eventually get your parcel…

Don’t ever use them they left my parcel
Don’t ever use them they left my parcel outside my apartment which is shared with 45 other neighbours and I called them and told them that someone has stole it and they said they had no email or phone number.

NEVER USE EVEN IF ITS THE LAST POSTAL…
NEVER USE EVEN IF ITS THE LAST POSTAL SERVICE ON EARTH. My item has been in ‘transit’ for close to two months and I received at best one reply to my emails asking for an update which basically told me the exact same thing that the tracking service already has. They never give a reply within the one business day that they promised and basically act unavailable to drain your energy to get a reply from a human instead of something that an automated machine can do.
Do not use this even if it’s the cheapest service available because you might as well throw your parcel into the bin and never see it again. Be careful because DHL also does business with this company, my item was with DHL at first before being handed over to DAIpost and then it’s only been weeks of emailing or trying to call DAIpost to get no reply. If your item is being delivered with this company, please make sure to pray hard that you are one of the lucky ones who actually got their item after a few months because they love to keep dragging out the process long enough that it becomes impossible for you to even get a refund from the merchant you bought the item from.
This is scummy on various levels and DAIpost should be ashamed of themselves as a business which does not perform what customers pay them for.
