It’s nice that this site not only gets the exact items I ordered, but the quality is great too. I used to have shipping issues months ago probably because of past technical difficulties on their website but in recent times, it’s not a problem for me. Turns out, I should be double checking my information and not just the orders.

I was able to purchase pottery glazes that I was unable to find at other retailer. The price was a little bit higher that others but I received them quickly and in good condition. I will certainly check back at Blick in the future for my pottery needs.

I really don't like paying that dang postage. I am disappointed in the declining quality of the picture frames; used to be glass not that fake stuff.

Thank you for your order! We understand your feeling about shipping costs but it is an inherent and unavoidable factor with mail order unfortunately. We do offer free shipping with a minimum purchase though. You can view the current offer here https://www.dickblick.com/customerservice/shipping/ and we do also still have special shipping offers from time to time as well. We do offer a few frames that come with glass, however due to the high incidence of breakage with shipping glass, the majority of frames we offer that come with facing is styrene or acrylic. If you prefer to use glass, it is usually safer and more cost effective to purchase it locally. Most hardware and DIY stores offer the service to cut glass to order at a very reasonable cost.

Everything went smoothly as far as ordering, pricing was excellent, quick delivery. My only negative would be that one of the boxes of paints I ordered was crushed when it arrived. Product was fine, but box useless for storing paint tubes.

Large selection of items at competitive prices. It seldom occurs that Blick lacks an item that I seek. Website very informative about the items. Reliable delivery of purchases with items carefully packaged.

I ordered one thing, and it turned out I had put in the wrong address I'd saved for the shipping address, which is entirely my own fault. The follow-up I received after posting my review was thorough, and the customer service representative was professional and very polite especially given my reaction, and resolved the situation and also explaining why they couldn't reach out sooner.

I have been waiting over a week for a small order to ship. I understand about Covid issues, but Blick said absolutely nothing on their website about slow shipping or skeleton crews. Wrote to order@ after hearing nothing back for 3 days, wrote to customerservice@ after 5 days and still heard nothing back. So, I called on the 7th day and customer service rep said they were behind on emails (really) and working with a skeleton crew (this is 1st notice of this problem). She said it was scheduled to ship that day. I heard nothing from shipping and it didn't ship, so I called back on 8th day and told the new CS rep who answered the phone I just wanted to cancel. Was informed I couldn't cancel the order as it was at the warehouse. What is up with that! Money is still pending in my PP account that I can't use and Blick will neither ship nor respond, except with excuses. We've ordered major and minor items during the past Covid month, from furniture, to household goods, hobby items, outdoor plant stands and more, and every company stated on their website they were working short handed, but still responded to emails. Some CS reps were working from home. Blick does none of this. They capture your money and hold you hostage. No one is too big to fail and they apparently don't believe in customer service. I've owned businesses for 45+ years and customer service was always been number one. Blick must believe there is an unending supply of customers......but I'm no longer a customer May 8th Addition: Blick has refunded my money and still shipped the product, which lets me know they are concerned about doing the right thing. This happened after I asked the CS rep to pass my email up the chain. Head of CS responded and offered the current solution. Still think this issue could have been avoided with a simple response to my emails...but this has turned out to be a positive experience.

We are happy to see that this situation was resolved for you. We do have messaging on the shipping page of checkout noting the delay in order processing and again on the order confirmation email that is sent and we are sorry to learn that you missed them. Our call centers are experiencing a high volume of customer calls and wait times may be longer than usual. Please know that the current order processing and service wait times are not at all what we would consider to be acceptable under normal circumstances. In spite of the current challenges, we remain committed to serving and getting orders to our customers as quickly as possible.
