Was sent the wrong version of the a 3 screwdrivers that I ordered, they came in different to what was pictured. I was not offered a refund or an exchange they just told they had updated the picture and could I please just keep the item. Terrible customer service

UPDATE: We had to file a claim against them at PayPal. Finally got the case closed in my favor. It just shows you that once this company gets a hold of your money, they will do anything to make it as hard as possible for you to get it back. Just read their lengthy return policy to see that. What a dumb way to conduct business. Just a nasty nasty company. They actually approached me and offered me the full refund in exchange to take this review down. I have it all saved in email correspondence. I told them money first and never heard from them again. Shady people. Palm face. They still owe me the return shipping costs. And we will continue to fight for that. Investigation is not over. YouTube video is coming. We didn't forget about it. UPDATE: Looks like they have only one guy in their customer service. I wouldn't be surprised if they have only 5 employees. First they claimed I received what I ordered, which is compete false. Now they started lying that I damaged their product. Oh boy. They look for any opportunity to justify their horrible service. IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE, AVOID THIS COMPANY. READ OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS, IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME. I have given them every opportunity to get things right. I spend close to a thousand a month on various electronics components and kits. They just lost many potential customers. It's just puzzling. Never had such horrible experience with any online merchant. I will do anything to spread the word of their dishonest behavior, get on any social media, yelp, fb, YouTube, file any lawsuit possible. --- Absolutely horrible experience. First, I had to wait for 2 weeks to get my order E-3090060782 instead of promised 2 days. Then it turned out they replaced my order with some junk without even contacting me first. I SPECIFICALLY ORDERED VELLEMAN HIGH QUALITY BREADBOARDS AND INSTEAD RECEIVED COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BRAND!!! If I could I would post pictures. I also emailed them the pictures. They know they messed up! I contacted them prior to posting this review in hope they would resolve this issue. their customer service was very rude, didn't listen to me and told me I had to ship it back at my own expense in order to get a refund. Really??? The breadboards were for YouTube reviews and educational project videos. And they told me they don't care about their reputation on YouTube. Ok.

This customer ordered Velleman breadboards which states directly on the product listing (for those who can read) that it has extended handling as the company we source this from is located in Belgium. Many customers do not read/understand that the 2-day shipping is on SELECT ITEMS and items that require extend handling obviously are not eligible for 2-day delivery. We did ship the customer's order within the proper amount of handling time, we shipped him the breadboards that he ordered, they were the breadboards we received from Velleman. Even though these are the breadboards that we received from Velleman & the customer became extremely agitated about the Velleman breadboards we sent him. Because we do value our customers and prefer to work with them whenever possible, we advised the customer he could return the order for a refund. Our site policy (which this customer was able to read and agreed to prior to completing checkout) states that except for a verified defect, we do not provide return shipping. The customer did not report a defect, he simply did not like the product so he was ineligible for a prepaid label. The customer then continued to be abusive to our staff and did not want to send the items back. Once the customer returned the order, he was eligible for a refund within our website policy. Prior to even returning the order he left a negative review here threatening to slander us on a NON-EXISTENT Youtube Channel to pressure us into giving a full refund on parts that were returned damaged and in pieces. The customer returned DAMAGED PRODUCT that was used incorrectly and thus he incurred a small restocking fee within the scope of our return policy https://www.eio.com/pages/returns. We did nothing worthy of a 1 star review, the customer placed an order for an item with extended handling, he received it within the proper amount of time then was unduly agitated simply because he did not like the item he received and that per our site policy - that he agreed to - he has to pay the return shipping. Please note, please contact us prior to just leaving bad reviews as we do work with customers who contact us.

I ordered something in October that was finally “slotted”to get delivered on 4/7. I tried to get it redelivered to my new address, but it never arrived. So confusing and such a long time. Now, I’ll have to debate with customer service to get refunded. Very dissatisfied.

We apologized to this customer about this situation, however it appears that the delay with delivering their order was because they had moved and requested mail forwarding. The order would have been delivered 2 days prior to the ETA on April 5th, however as you see in the customer review she has a new address. Mail forwarding occurred on April 7, and delivery on April 9. In this situation it would have been nice if she had waited because of the mail forwarding. No refund is due when an order is delivered. I ordered 1 of your products. You sent an alternative that I could get cheaper anywhere. Your customer service said (that was the replacement product). NOT good business. After 2 phones to the Customer Service Dept, I was never offered a replacement, refund or anything. Their reply is incorrect. This is Not a good way to do business.

While we do apologize this happened, and we do our best to ensure listings are as accurate as possible compared to what we sent, there are instances where a manufacturer makes changes to a product without consulting us and they will often send us the replacement product if an older model is discontinued. Often the replacement is a better product. We contacted 3M on this specific instance, and 3M indicated this is a superior product with a reduced work time and higher effectiveness. The customer received and is not happy with a product that was actually superior to the previous version. We offered to have the customer return the item for a full refund but he was not willing to send it back. We are willing to work with customers, ideally BEFORE they defame us on TP, however some customers prefer to leave negative reviews instead of working things out in the hopes that they can strongarm small businesses like us into freebies by leaving bad reviews. Although there are a number of 1 star reviews, we have easily 10X more orders that went through with no problem whatsoever however they didn't leave a review reflecting that because these platforms are geared towards complaints only.

Read the description, not the picture. Looks can be deceiving. Did not receive what I was expecting.

This customer ordered based solely on the picture in the listing without actually reading the description (which was clear in the title what it was) and did not try to contact us prior to ordering to make sure of what he was ordering. The listing we have on our site is IDENTICAL to the listing on 3M’s own website and identical to what every other reseller has on their website. 3M’s website shows the pic of the helmet and gives written details explaining that you are getting the filter only. The helmet picture is included FOR REFERENCE and 3M expects that 1) their customer’s read the listing to make sure they get the right item. 2) 3M knows and expects that the people buying this product SHOULD know enough to order the right part by READING the description and not basing their purchase off of picture. Lastly, we have our phone number and email address on the site so that you can contact us with questions BEFORE making a purchase. We would rather work with you and answer questions to help you get the right thing the first time than have you order based on an assumption from looking at the picture and not reading the listing. Please call BEFORE ordering to clarify. This customer emailed us asking to return the item, and we advised him he could, however he is upset about the return policy and left a negative review because of it out of spite.

We just reviewed this customer’s order and there are two issues with it. Firstly, the customer DID NOT pay for 2-day shipping. The customer paid for PRIORITY MAIL which is the method we shipped it when it was sent out. 2 day shipping is more expensive than the priority mail the customer paid for. The second issue is the item was (and still is) listed as having “EXTENDED HANDLING TIME” directly right above the “add to cart” so that you can see there may a delay before you even start the purchasing process and checkout. It’s in bright orange letters and hard to miss. Extended handling means, and it should be obvious, that it may not ship immediately and if there is an urgent need, we would hope that you call or email us for a timeline BEFORE placing the order instead of just leaving negative feedbacks all over. We are a small business, not a multi-billion dollar conglomerate. Purchases that require extended handling should not be expected to ship immediately and if you have a question as to how long extended handling actually is, you can always call or emails us as our contact information is on our website. This is so you can contact us with questions BEFORE making a purchase. We would rather work with you and answer questions about shipping expectations BEFORE you order than process the order normally and get a negative feedback because expectations based on assumptions were not met.

Didn't ship for 6 days. Had to download a 3rd party app to track my package that collected personal information about me. Won't use again. Product that did arrive was authentic.

After extensive research we found that this customer's issues were based upon the following. 1) The item ordered was flagged for extended handling, this means the item will not ship immediately and may take a long time to fulfill being a special order item. When this is on an item, we recommend that you contact us to ascertain the wait time and availability. The customer either did not read/see that message or did not understand that extended handling is not immediate. 2) The app download is OFFERED by Shopify where we have our site. There is no pop up and there is not a compulsory download. You have to click on it to download. The customer did not HAVE to download it for tracking, but CHOSE to. A small minority of customers have complained about this, but it is not something we can remove. The large majority of customers actually LIKE the option to download this app. ALL orders get tracking WITHOUT an app download if an email is provided at checkout. The complaint about personal information is a little silly as we have to collect personal information to bill and ship an order to our customers. As far as putting that info into the app, again that's an app that is voluntary to download and again, you would have to voluntarily put your personal info into the app and agree to it, so if that's a problem you should stop before putting it in. In summary, this complaint is due to not reading or understanding the message about extended handling and then because the customer CHOSE to download the 3rd party app which is not required and requires several deliberate steps. Tracking is available without the app.

This is my first time ordering from this website and it’s such a complete disappointment. I placed an order for some sensors since the price from this website was cheaper than other website. It had been 3 weeks and no update about shipping. I emailed to ask about the progress of my order. I finally emailed to ask to cancel my order. Customer service is such a complete let down. No apology or anything. I wish they could improve customer experience by at least sending an email stating the order has been delayed or out of stock. At least they finally sent me an automated email that my order is cancelled per request and refund my money. I do not recommend this website to anyone. Better pay higher price at other companies for better customer service.

This is a fake review, this customer NEVER ordered from us. We asked for more info from Trustpilot, after 3 days no further info sent by customer. We flagged for removal and TP magically found customer information, however will not share it with us for "privacy"...even though to fulfill orders we have customer information anyways. TP kept this fake review up despite us not having a customer like this. Trust pilot has also removed a number of positive reviews for us.
