Sept 5, 2024 Bought ticket on Fandago and it was emailed to us for wrong theatre. Promised refunds that day but made mistake and refund didn't happen. Called a few days later and they say "sorry nothing we can do for you". Don't use Fandago. Crooks!!!

I bought tickets on Fandango and it placed me in Hicksville when I clicked island 16. I didn’t realize it until I was at the theater and had waited on a 15 minute line for stale popcorn. I asked the manager if anything can be done and her response was take it up with Fandango.

Rented a movie on demand which wouldn’t play. After contacting Fandango 8/3/24, never received the courtesy of a reply in resolving the situation and/or refund. Where is the customer loyalty if Fandango takes your money, provides no service and instead ignores with a four corner stall tactic. In the future, I will never rent a movie on Fandango!

My wife just bought 2 tickets for a Saturday movie and for some reason after she made the purchase it showed the movie was for tonight and already started, we live 30 minutes away so obviously we couldn’t go. Fandango would not exchange or refund, WE ARE ELDERLY and it’s hard for us to use the computer. STAY AWAY FROM FANDAGO.

I'd give them 0 if that was an option. I have never experienced so many issues trying to spend money. You are not guaranteed anything when you give them your money. They can cancel at anytime and then good luck getting your money back or even a human to assist you. The same dude Nkosinathi, N does NOT care about their customers nor their experience. Their entire revenue stream is based on the $1 "convenience fee" that they will not refund, regardless of who cancelled. They cancelled my tickets and concession stand purchase less than 24 hours before my movie. I was asked 567 times to save time and get my food now, so stupidly, I spent $30 on popcorn and drinks for a movie that was cancelled on me without notice. I have yet to receive a refund. Mr Nkosinathi at Fandango support that's provided by @Salesforce, could care less and refuses to give me the confirmation # for the cancelled food that I never cancelled. To top it off, they are texting me to go get my food. If you give them your money, you'll never get it back. And any credits they issue you, are worthless bc the theatre won't accept "passes". The only way to guarantee you can see the film on the day and time purchased, is to drive your happy a** to the theater the Day before and buy a literal paper ticket. I feel really stupid seeing the 1.7 rating as I'm leaving a review I wish I had read before I gave them a single penny. And they really could care less and are filled with excuses and nothing is their fault. I see a new docu series in the making on this giant scam. $1 taken from every customer regardless if goods or services are provided is what's keeping this company afloat. Don't give them anything bc you won't get anything in return. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience. And shame on me for not reading a recent review of this scam of a company. No seat is guaranteed so save yourself and buy direct from theatre. After being blocked on chat, finally got a "person" and it was a different person. Same song and dance. Dimakatso, M also has refused to provide me with a confirmation of refund they claim they have processed and after asking multiple times for the confirmation # for my purchase, shocker, the chat suddenly ended. This is beyond pathetic service and way to treat paying customers. They got my $1 they are keeping and they could care less about any inconvenience but take that $1 convenience fee "that pays for support Fandango provides". That's the line I keep getting which is laughable.

I purchased two movie tickets through Fandango and I only used one and I tried to contact Fandango to get my money back for the other ticket and they would not give me a refund. Do not use Fandango to buy movie tickets.

Don’t lose your money with these people!!! Zero stars if I could. When you attempt to contact them to get a refund they will NOT contact you back.

I do not recommend Fandango to any of my friends, since they are so greedy that did not helped me with exchange of date on a movie, I didn’t even used the tickets! Really disappointed. I will start using a different app to reserve movies. Worst customer service! $40 waisted!
