I have been using Focusmate for one year now and it is an incredibly big help to the way I work. It keeps me focused on my task for the time period I select (25, 50, or 75 minutes) and this way I get a tremendous amount of work done, versus being distracted by other things in between trying to work. And the interesting people I've met around the world is a wonderful bonus.

Have been using Focusmate for the past year now and it's helped me working from home immensely. Very rarely your buddy doesn't show up but it's out of Focusmate's control and they do take measures to try and match you with somebody else! Have been loving all of the recent updates and look forward to continue using this.

Focusmate is the dream productivity tool for a PhD student. If you're also a writer who is struggling to look past anxiety and actually get the words on a page, focusmate.com is a game changer. It is the sweet spot between social pressure and productivity, and it feels really good when you can say to your partner that the session went really well. Even on sessions when I'm not at my best, the community is always really encouraging. Wish I found focusmate.com sooner, but it's never too late to finish a thesis!

Absolute Game Changer - Could not recommend it enough! Focusmate has been an absolute turbocharge for my productivity over the past few years. As a solopreneur where everything depends on me - I set up a simple habit of 2 sessions in the morning, and 2 sessions in the afternoon, and quickly found myself loving the experience and using it more and more often. I just reached my 1000th session. Thanks to Focusmate, I recently achieved my goals in two crucial English tests. I had a very short time to prepare for these ambitious goals, which I had postponed multiple times. In addition, I have achieved many other goals with the help of Focusmate. Prior to using the platform, I didn't have anyone to hold me accountable, and many of my tasks required immense willpower, often draining me within just a few hours. Focusmate has been a lifesaver. Focusmate diverted my focus from tediously working to feeling like I was hanging out with a new friend and working is just simply something we choose to do together. This makes the work less stressful and boring. In addition, each session gave me a sense of continuous achievement. Some tasks might take a few days to complete, so in the past, the feeling of accomplishment would only come after such a long time. With Focusmate, the task is divided into sessions, and each session makes me feel one step closer to completing my tasks. So in general, it's been great.
