Love Focusmate for productivity. This body doubling program really works for me. Is it perfect, not quite. But from what I've seen the team is committed to continual improvement. I've met some awesome people on Focusmate. It's a great value for me.

I am a senior partner at a management consulting firm that has lifelong ADHD. I've used many techniques and tools to create external accountability for myself over the decades, and Focusmate has become one of the valuable things in my daily toolkit. It is incredibly simple to use, has a great and diverse community of users, and is (I'd argue) very underpriced.

I have completed more than 1600 sessions on Focusmate till date, and it has been a lifesaver to keep me accountable to get work done, improved my time estimation skills on how much work I can get done in a 50-minute session, and a brilliant way to meet and work with so many welcoming and fun people. I have spent sessions working on meditation, journaling, planning projects, my dissertation, presentations, chores and a good deal of other stuff! I just wanted to say thanks for existing and helping people like me achieve our goals and be our best selves.

Focus mate is a life changing platform. Since becoming a member, I am way more relaxed about my tasks and deadlines for I know using it will force me to sit down and go for it, no matter what. The team is super helpful and other users extremely nice and respectful. It's like feeling part of a community of procrastinators silently helping each other to make progress in life. I couldn't recommend it more!

I started working remotely back in 2020, and am still mostly at home since. I have had trouble focusing on work for a long time, so much so that I was worried that my executive functioning was impaired. I mentioned body doubling to a close friend, and she told me about Focusmate. The mere fact that I am sharing a work session with someone else on the screen has done wonders for me. I have finished tedious tasks like writing and reviewing citations for a book and rewriting my resume and cover letter, which I usually avoid like the plague. I like that I can choose defined time blocks so that I don't stare at the screen all day. I also like that it's giving me a sense of how long tasks take. It's amazing how much I can get done in 25 minutes. I also appreciate hearing what other people are working on and how they organize their tasks. I use the first 25 minutes of my day making a to-do list, estimating how long tasks will take, and then prioritizing rather than having a huge list and never feeling like I've gotten anywhere. Even in short snippets of conversation I have met great people. Some have recommended other tools to help with focus and organization.

This is a perfect product in the digital remote-working age. The guidelines that the developers created, and likewise the atmosphere of the FocusMate that ensues, are themselves simple and focused. It is a pleasure to meet a diversity of people across a working day. I have been more productive than I have been in my entire career. I wish I had discovered FocusMate earlier. I am so thankful to have discovered it now. Use FocusMate. Let's create a focused world together.

I've been using FocusMate since June 2022 and I've grown more and more focused and productive with this tool than anything else. It really helps to know that there is a person waiting to work with you and they have their own goals to achieve! A quick check-in, respectful of time so work can begin, and boom-I'm off and running getting more done in an hour than I can sometimes complete in a day! Today I had a glitch in my account and it kicked me off my paid plan. Margarida was so helpful in the chat to find out the problem (duplicate account!) and help me rectify the situation and get back to my productivity packed day ahead! Dear Margarida and FocusMate: Wow! I can't believe how easy that was!! I was afraid I was going to lose my whole day! You're amazing! Thank you so much!!

Absolute Life Changer. I use it every work day. As someone with ADHD, this helps me schedule and segment my tasks. Since I started using it I've gotten SO MUCH MORE DONE with less stress. I've done over 1100 sessions and I've NEVER had a bad experience with a focusmate on the other end. I've even made some internet friends without meaning to. The support staff are swift, responsive and friendly. God help me if this website ever goes down. I love it and use it constantly!
