I called and the salesman was pushy and would not let me get a word in. Gave me price and asked for my information. Then he told me either Friday afternoon or Saturday. I said that would work and he asked for a credit card. I told him I needed to get my Boss’s approval and he said no worries. No credit card was given. I got off phone and called my Boss whom said no. I called them right back and told them I’m canceling. This was 5 minutes later. Then whoever answered the phone transferred me to another department. After being on perma hold I hung up and called back. I told the person that answered I was not going to need them. Today, two days later I get a call that I owed them a cancellation fee! Very unprofessional! I will not be giving them $50 for a 5 minute appointment!!

Unresolved Security Issues, Broken Promises and Zero Documentation
I am lowering my rating to 1 star due to a severe breach of trust, incompetence, and a total lack of communication regarding a critical network security issue.
I hired this company to eliminate a persistent spyware problem on my network. As part of our security upgrade, we installed a new ISP router and invested in a Firewalla router. The first technician sent to our home, Ryan, was entirely unprofessional. He spent the visit explaining how tired he was because he works 3 to 4 other jobs, and boasted about credentials from MIT and affiliations with the "OPSec anonymous hacker group" and "capture the flag" events. Unsurprisingly, he failed to resolve the issue.
After reaching out to a supervisor, a second technician named Bruno remoted into our system. A customer service agent confirmed that Bruno found and cleared out "remaining malware and adware." I was promised a detailed report of Bruno's findings.
I have repeatedly emphasized the urgency of receiving this report. I have been a victim of ongoing identity theft and network harassment for over four years, and this report is crucial evidence needed by my investigator. Despite the high stakes, the company has completely ignored my requests and failed to deliver the documentation.
To make matters worse, since their intervention, my security has been further compromised: my email account's 2-factor authentication (2FA) security key was bypassed/stolen, and my authenticator app has been rendered useless and cannot be changed.
This company clearly does not know how to handle a compromised network. They failed to secure my system, failed to provide critical documentation, and left my network more vulnerable than before. Avoid them at all costs.

-* Terrible
Geeks on site-Terrible. Did more harm to my DTF Printer. They rescheduled three times. Messed up my program and printer and is worse off than before he came. As soon as Gabriel left I called and asked them to not charge my card because I am not paying. Then, they got a statement, and they charged me more. I am so mad. They refuse to give a refund and do not consider anything the client has to say about the experience and what actually happened. Akesia took the technician's word over what actually happened from me, the client. I am going to make sure I give bad review constantly for this company. But it looks by its reviews they are already destroying their reputation all on their own. They have BAD reviews. The president needs to pay attention on what is happening to his company!!!!

Hi Melissa,
We’re sorry to hear how upsetting this experience was. After reviewing the service visit, our records indicate that the printer had undergone a motherboard replacement prior to the appointment. The technician found that the software was functioning, but the remaining issue was related to the printer’s hardware and recommended contacting the manufacturer for further support.
The final charge reflected the additional time spent during the appointment beyond the initial service period. We understand that the outcome was not what you expected, and we regret that the visit left you feeling unheard. For additional support please contact us at 800-903-7314 or https://geeksonsite.com/get-in-touch/.

DO NOT USE THEM
DO NOT USE THEM
Requested updated driver help & to be networked to my husbands computer so I could access QB program. Suppose to be a 2hr job at most. Tech spent 6+ hrs, erased my entire laptop and re-installed with new drivers however he did not put ALL my programs back on nor did he connect me to my husbands computer. He also took off with the flash drive that I gave him to backup with all my computer files & programs. Have called 8 times in a week as I cannot work but keep getting a run around. Filed a complaint with BBB. Very upsetting as he left me in worse shape than when he first came.

Terrible
Terrible. I wish I could give negative stars. They canceled three consecutive appointments without explanation or apology and left me without a computer or access to my work and records. Shameful.

Hi Curt,
We're sincerely sorry that your original appointment had to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, the technician assigned to the rescheduled appointment later became ill and the cancellation was not communicated to our team properly. This resulted in another rescheduling request, which you understandably chose not to accept. We apologize for the repeated changes, the lapse in communication, and the frustration this caused.

Where are the **** technicians???
Utterly incompetent. Bad communication. Unable to actually do what they say they would do.
Which is disappointing to say about Geeks on Site, because I remember going to their store in person with a faulty Switch, and they managed to fix the SD card reader. It eventually failed later due to old age I guess, but I remember trusting their experience over UBreakIFix and thought them to be reputable. Not anymore.
I scheduled an appointment back in Feb 26 2026, with the intention to deliver my PC tower and have them replace the graphics card inside with a stronger one (as the screw was set in too tight for me to unscrew, and DIY is risky even with online tutorials).
First, they were to show up on Monday, but couldn't get a hold of someone to come over in the afternoon (12 to 4 time frame). I had to call them at around 3, and they awkwardly admitted they had to reschedule. Then Thursday evening (4-8) they couldn't get a hold of someone to come over either.
Finally, on Friday, they called me in the morning, saying they would get in hold of a technician to come over in 15 minutes. I waited nearly half an hour before calling them up to ask what was taking so long. Customer service couldn't find my order details at first because of the rescheduling snafu, even though they charged me $149 a week prior.
$149 for a technician to show up and do their tinkering job for an hour, and they couldn't be bothered show up once all week. When I first called them, they tried pushing to 3 hours which I forgot how much more expenisve it was, but didn't feel it was necessary to do more than a part replacement. It was then and there I decided to cancel, since they've been giving me nothing but frustration.
I don't know what is going on over there, but Geeks on Site really needs to keep in touch better with their actual workers who are meant to help customers. 24-hour access to their call center doesn't mean much if the customer service keeps rotating workers who offer empty platitudes and half-baked promises. They can't even answer basic questions like where the hell are their technicians.

Hi Charles,
We sincerely apologize for the experience you had as this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We failed to provide timely updates regarding technician availability on two separate occasions and we take full responsibility for this oversight. We understand how frustrating this was, especially given your previous trust in our company.
We take full responsibility for the communication and scheduling issues. A full refund has been processed and we are truly sorry that we were unable to provide the service you expected.

Laptop was not working and freezing up when loading
Geeks on Site (Order #140455, January 17, 2026)
I urgently needed my laptop repaired over the weekend and couldn’t find anyone available. Unfortunately, choosing Geeks on Site was a major mistake.
The technician they sent was polite, but completely unqualified for computer repairs — he openly admitted that he was only an installation technician. It became obvious when he started Googling “how to repair Dell laptop” right in front of me. I’m not a professional technician, but even I know enough about Dell systems to recognize when someone has no idea what they’re doing.
When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained all the troubleshooting steps I had already taken so the technician would be prepared. Despite that, the person they sent was untrained and unable to help in any way.
Afterward, I contacted Geeks on Site to request a refund under their so-called “guarantee.” They’ve completely ignored my calls and emails since.
My advice:
If you absolutely need someone to come to your home, demand an experienced computer repair technician, not an installer.
Do not waste money on their maintenance contract. You’re better off buying a can of compressed air from OfficeMax and cleaning your own keyboard and vents.
Keep your PC updated — Windows updates, drivers, firmware, and software — and you’ll save yourself a headache.
The only positive from this experience is that the technician referred me to a real repair shop that actually fixed my laptop properly.
Bottom line: Geeks on Site failed to provide competent service, ignored their guarantee, and wasted my time. I would not recommend them to anyone needing genuine technical support.

Hi Anthony,
After reviewing your account, we are sorry that the service did not meet your expectations or resolve the issue with your laptop. Our records show that our team attempted to follow up by phone and voicemail in late January, but we regret that we were unable to connect and bring the matter to a resolution at that time.
We have confirmed that the service was paid for online, and a member of our team will contact you directly, if they have not already, to address the service and the status of your refund. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this experience caused.

Stay away, don't trust.
Scheduled the installation of a TV and soundbar for today between 2pm and 4pm. They informed me I would be charged 50 dollars if I cancelled with no reschedule. They called a little after 2pm saying the installation would have to be rescheduled for tomorrow. Told them I would not be available and to cancel the whole thing. Warned them my next step was to contact my credit card company and block any unforeseen charges and process a request to have their installation fee refunded back to my account. They called later today and said I would be refunded 3 to 5 business days. Waiting for developments. They talk fast and avoid answering pointed questions. Please be careful.
