As many companies did, GlobeIn went through a rough period probably due to covid. But they are now seemingly back on track and we are getting our monthly delivery right on time.

Update: customer service did take longer than originally stated (about 17 days), but they are sending replacement items and refunding a product that is no longer available. So I am happy and will probably re-subscribe because I love their products and I enjoy supporting world artisans Original post: Their products are great, but the packaging is poor and two items have arrived broken. I emailed customer service starting a month ago and have only received an automated message. It's a great concept badly executed.

Hi Dana, Thank you for providing this feedback. Our Customer Support Team will be more than happy to help you with this. Please note that our Support Team is about 14 business days behind on emails due to the increase we are receiving. You should have received an automated email letting you know that we received your request and explaining our response time at the moment. If you do send in multiple emails, it will significantly delay your response time because of how our email system works. They will respond to you as soon as possible. Thank you, The GlobeIn Team

Edited Dec 26: Update February 1: upgraded from 1 to 4 stars - because the product is great. I’m cautiously optimistic, I have now received most of the products I ordered between October to December . Everything was packaged well and arrived unbroken. I am hopeful GlobeIn has turned a corner and will recover from their issues over the last 6 months. The product itself is worth the headache. Still no orders filled from oct, nov, dec. no updates, no responses. It’s a giant headache. At this point I just want a refund. I signed up for a year subscription in June 2020. I received a box in June and July. I have not received august , September, October, November. I was refunded for add ons from August and September just a week ago. I have a 470$ Paid add on order from October with no status. A email said they are “moving warehouse or out of stock” . Many of the items I ordered in October were offered on Black Friday as specials. Today was the icing on the cake when I received a new email saying the items for my November theme were out of stock and to pick a new one. This of course is associated with a narrow window to respond. I received the same similarly worded email in October to pick a new theme and ended up with a 50$ credit to order from their “artisan “ shop. I have several subscription boxes from established companies that have also experienced covid delays. . These delays have been between 2-4 weeks at times. Those companies excelled due to open truthful communication. I have tried to give the globe in company a bit of patience and grace but they seem in capable of fixing their issues. They are faltering mostly due to poor, inconsistent communication. I am starting to wonder if the company is “run” by an inexperienced incompetent team with no cash reserves to cover outstanding supply chain invoices for inventory shipments. I was optimistic that they were just a bit disorganized and suffered poor covid planning. The vague responses have started to jade me. Until they can reestablish themselves as a reputable company I would avoid ordering add ons or renewing subscriptions.

I really enjoyed my recent box, it was full of beautifully hand crafted items that I actually want to use. I liked reading the information about the artisans and look forward to future purchases.

I'm into 3 months of my 6 month subscription. I like the products and so far nothing has been broken. You need to be fast to pick next month's box because they are sold out.

Prefer much more than say FFF and causebox. Had gotten a 3 month subscription. I like that they allowed skipping which i am happy they did because they had a few months where the boxes they came together with just did not vibe with me at all. Before I had ordered the set I had checked with them about using the worth of the box ($65) on market stuff and they allowed it. After a few months of in interested sets I went to use it in the market. Now this is my issue, Costumer service was stating that that it generally wasn't thier policy to shop the market but for me they would make an exception. That really made me mad, to be felt like rules were being bent to accommodate me which was written in their own policy. Which is why I never renewed subscription for another term or casually shop at thier site any longer.
