Supportive staff member who walked us through every step trying to figure out why our collar wasn't giving feedback to our pup!

Warrantee work is USUALLY such a pain! Not today! Our collar was acting weird, then said the battery was dead (even tho' it had charged all night). As soon as I plugged it in, the app alerted me that something was very wrong. Following a short description of the problem, it stated that it was a warranty issue and "just click here" for next steps (Uggghhh... how annoying is this going to be???) I followed the instructions, and seconds later was offered the chance to connect via Zoom to someone in the dog park (I could choose to be on or off video). I clicked to continue with video on. Literally less than a minute later I was connected to Logan, who opened the call with a smile, was so kind and who empathized with the situation before explaining to me next simple steps it would take to accomplish the warrantee replacement. I was immediately put at ease. Prior to this, I was in the middle of a million things, so even though I'm technical enough to do it myself, his offer to handle all of the paperwork with me on the call, was a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated!! Honestly, the entire process Halo has was one of the smoothest customer service experiences I have ever had (I'm not being dramatic. It REALLY was). Additionally, I'll mention that the fact that Logan was in a quiet room was fantastic. His speaking voice was clear and easy to understand, his mic worked great, and there was no background noise. Background noise on a troubleshooting call can make things so difficult for the customer. Oh, and at the beginning of the call, Logan didn't argue with me that something was wrong. I don't know what diagnostics he could see on his screen, but it was nice to not have to go through a million troubleshooting steps like rebooting, etc. which we'd already been doing anyway! Troubleshooting a situation at the end of a busy tech day was not what I was looking forward to ... but Halo's automated process and Logan's quick response was perfect. Thank you so much.

Service rep was fast and fixed my problem immediately! I was ready to return the collar thinking it wouldn’t work for us, and the rep knew exactly how to help. The collar works perfectly now and we love it!

It was amazing that I was alerted to an issue before I noticed it and that Halo jumped in the correct it. Thank you.

Quick and direct.

Symantha (Samm) and Emma were extremely helpful. Samm went so far as to connect me with Apple given that the Halo app did not have the solution I need. She was incredibly thoughtful patient and knowledgeable. Emma was also great. The same cannot be said for all of your tech assistance though and there definitely needs to be consistent training to bring people up to the level of these two excellent staff. The Halo app, however, has one incredibly huge flaw. The user is unable to receive any kind of distinctive sound notification if your dog leaves the fence area. The most you will get is the same sound as a text being received. No one at Halo and no one at Apple could find any way for me to create a distinctive sound so that I would know by sound if my dog left the fence. This seems like the absolute bare minimum function that an app like this should have for the safety of dogs. While I’m happy with the tech support service today, I’m extremely unhappy to have purchased a system with such a glaring flaw.

I didn’t think I could ever let my hardheaded beagle leash free in our yard. The tutorials are great! Took us a little longer to get her acclimated to the rewards and alerts, but we went through each step taking as long as needed. For the past week, she has been leash free and we both love it!! The ultimate test was when a rabbit ran through the neighbors yard and she knew where to stop!!
