They took money from my HSA account for the second month of treatment even though I had received no medication. I found an email in my account stating that I needed to schedule a telehealth appointment with a provider before it would be shipped. The email was over a week old. The next available telehealth appointment is almost two weeks away. I've been unable to reach anyone with the company. Apparently I'm playing the email game at this point. I'm not very happy atm with what's going on. A nearly three week gap in treatment does not seem right to me. Maybe I'm the problem? I want my money back until services are provided.

Hi Micah, we flagged this to Care Team leadership as soon as we saw it so they can reach out and assist as quickly as possible. Our provider team also just opened up more availability and we're completely adjusting our follow-up calendars in the next week to prevent issues like this from happening again. We're so sorry for the frustration caused and understand how this impacted you negatively. Please look out for a message from Care if you haven't already seen it.
Thank you,

Joyous Theft and AI Support Team.
Joyous is a great program that has significantly improved my mental health. However, Their customer service is so poor when something goes wrong it borders on theft. I'm pretty sure its entirely run by AI.
I recently had a shipment returned to sender (joyous) by USPS because they repeatedly failed to deliver it to my house. I have made about 15 attempts to reach out to the joyous customer service line (they have no phone, just a text and an online 'case' interface) and have only received incoherent AI responses telling me that my march delivery was made successfully no matter how many times I attempted to clarify that I was discussing February. On one singular occassion I was informed that once joyous received the medication that was returned to them they would redeliver it. Since that has happened it has been radio silence from Joyous.
My last resort is to leave this review because I feel that joyous has stolen my money. This is the second time I have paid for the medication and have not received it. Joyous is STEALING. Please someone if you have experience navigating this I would love to know what you did. And joyous, if you have a human reading this please send me my medication I paid you for!
At this point joyous has faile

Hi Santi, we're so sorry to hear about the issues with your delivery. We escalated this to the team to investigate and figure out what went wrong and ensure we made it right with you. We never want patients to feel like we've stolen their money and understand the frustration caused when USPS delays or impacts shipments. We're working on scoping other shippers and also working closely with USPS reps to ensure they offer support once the packages leave the pharmacy. Also just wanted to clarify that our company is made of real humans (not run by AI), but some responses are automated to help us triage requests to the right team and in some cases handle questions quickly. We're really sorry for the frustration this experience caused and we're ensuring the team communicates directly to continue to support. Thank you, ~Joyous Team

Joyous=awful. Ketamine therapy=wonderful
Ketamine therapy has been wonderful. Joyous as the prescriber is awful. They let me run out of meds every single month so far. Customer service is non existent. They have no urgency and truly do not care about you or your wellbeing. There are better options out there and I highly recommend using anyone else. Joyous cares only about their profits.

The Customer Service is SO bad ...
The Customer Service is SO bad it removes any benefit you gain from the product itself.
You will NEVER see a “therapist” more than once, the turnover is apparently pretty high.
You will never get an actual answer to a question or concern. They will continually respond with “we have escalated your request” without EVER addressing the problem.
It’s really sad because the product works but the Customer Service is SO bad that I just gave up.
No Company or people you are paying for to aid in mental health should be this frustrating or just down right dismissive and uncaring.

Deeply Disappointed in Joyous Care After Returning as a Patient
I am writing as a returning patient who previously completed treatment with Joyous a little over a year ago. My initial experience was highly positive, and after a year in remission, I was hopeful to return when my symptoms recently resurged. Unfortunately, this time around has been markedly different, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
Two weeks ago, I made an appointment to restart treatment. After completing intake and waiting for the provider, I was informed they would not be able to see me and that I would need to reschedule. I accepted this and booked the soonest available appointment, one week later. At my second attempt, after signing in and waiting again, I was once more told the provider could not see me and was again directed to reschedule. Now, facing a third attempt, I am being asked to wait over a week more while my symptoms are only worsening without care.
I have reached out through every channel Joyous provides, only to be met with generic form responses acknowledging my frustration but offering nothing beyond “please reschedule.” From a healthcare perspective, I cannot imagine treating patients’ needs with so little urgency. The repeated cancellations, lack of direct support, and extended waits have left me feeling deeply disappointed and neglected—especially given the contrast with the excellent care I once received.
I came back to Joyous because of the trust I had built through my initial treatment. I ask that you please take my situation seriously and review how patient care and scheduling are being managed. Patients seeking mental health support are often at their most vulnerable, and the current process has left me feeling unseen rather than supported.
I hope Joyous can address these issues so that both I and others in similar circumstances may once again experience the quality of care that I know your organization is capable of providing.
