We had a very nice stay. The cabin itself, the appliances, bed, etc. were all super clean, the hot tub was spotless, and the outside surroundings well taken care of. Everything was just as pictured and situated for good privacy and quiet. We liked that the Red Bird cabin was at the end of the road.Kathleen was terrific at answering questions and giving us info about the surrounding area. The TV remote needed to be reset and we had a problem setting it ourselves. Within minutes of calling Kathleen, a very nice, capable guy came by and reset it. We'd certainly stay there again!

The chanterelle is a two story cabin at the Laural mountain retreat. It was clean and cozy. It has all the necessities for sheltering in place. It setting it peaceful and relaxing, seemingly away from everything, while being 5 minutes from Weaverville and 15 minutes from Asheville. Our cattle dog loved it too. Plenty of space to walk and a large field to fetch her toy. Looking forward to visiting again.

The cabin was great. I stayed in Red Bird for a week and found it peaceful and close to everything I wanted to do in Asheville and surrounding parks. My dog really enjoyed it as well.

The stay was excellent. Kathleen was very responsive if we had questions. The property is very quiet and the cabin is just lovely. The hot tub and the fact that they are dog friendly were wonderful! You won’t be dissappointed by staying here. It’s very close to grocery stores and also the quaint little downtown area but far enough away to feel like you are away from it all.
