I cancelled an item and they shipped it to me anyway.

I thought I was buying the last discontinued laptop. It said one was left. After I bought it, it still showed one was left. Turns out someone else must have bought it because the next day I got email saying you don’t have any more. I bought a couple of more things to go with it. I called to cancel those purchases. After canceling those purchases, I got more email telling me it was on the way. I got email today, Sunday, letting me know I got my full refund for my attempted purchase last Tuesday morning. I would have thought using computers would let the customer know an item is out of stock, especially a $2,000 laptop. I thought it took a little long to get my refund. I have bought computers fromMacmall before and was very pleased with the customer service that went with it. The people I spoke to on this attempted purchase were very nice. I suspect the refund process is slow and out of their control. I was disappointed you let me buy something you don’t have.

My order was delayed because the engraving information I included with my order was not available to the staff fulfilling my order. MacMall phoned me and e-mailed me to provide the engraving information to them again. My order was fairly small, two ipads, cases, backup drive, headsets, and an adapter cord. My order was sent in three different shipments. MacMall phoned me and asked if they could change my delivery address because they could not find a record of my name associated with the address I provided. MacMall asked if I knew a certain name, and I said yes that is my son. I left instructions to have the shipper contact me prior to delivery so that I could grant them access to my driveway through my electric gate. Three deliveries and not one call. All three deliveries were left at the gate and could have easily been stolen. The packages were addressed, C/O my son who lives in my home.

This is taking far too long to receive the merchandise ordered. I have received the iPad cover within the 7 days promised—where’s the iPad? Disappointing, have ordered all my electronics from MacMall for over 15 years. No more!

The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the ease of online ordering and the fast shipping time. I paid through PayPal, which is set up with my billing at home in Louisiana and my shipping in Texas where I spend most of my time at work. I order things a lot through PayPal in this way. I received a call from an oriental woman that I could barely understand and she definitely wasn't understanding me. She was harassing me about my different addresses. I explained that I understood her concern, but PayPal autofilled the info. It's not like I filled in anything myself for it to be fraudulent. It took almost 1/2 hour to explain to her and I'm still not sure she understood when we hung up. Definitely gonna take my loss and deal with the product issues myself before even attempting to deal with customer service. The scanner I bought came with a CD that when installed in my computer, my whole computer started acting up. Took a few days to get it back right again. The mouse that I bought, I thought was the same as the one I used to have. This one actually bluetooths to the computer itself instead of a USB bluetooth. The mouse works when it wants. Mostly for less than 2 minutes. Not sure if its the mouse or from the scanner CD messing up the computer.

Your ad said that the item was available. Only to find out a week later that it was still on back order. No email or nothing just going to let me wait I suppose.

I thought I paid for the Philips dual screen DVD players but I received my shipment with only one monitor. I read the advertisement over and over and it states dual screen. Now i feel like I have been cheated out my money. I called and spoke with someone and he said he had to get an update from another company

Don’t waste your time ordering something for next day delivery. It will be 2 days. When I called to find out where the item was that I ordered for next day delivery the lady admitted that next day is really not next day because they have to verbally verify every order. If you don’t answer the phone call (wait I have to see patients, my JOB) the product will not be shipped out. Apple store will see my business from now on. At least the know what next day delivery is!
