MyCase has everything I need right now as a solo attorney. I primarily do transactional work and occasional court appearances. I think there are various features that could be implemented to enable more lawyers to adapt the software in their own practices.

I am a solo prac with a paralegal in a different city. MyCase works great for our case management. I would like to see the app for ipad developed further. It does not allow me to view time entries on each case unless an invoice has been created.

1. The recent activity section is backward, it should show recent activity not the first activity ever conducted. 2. You should only have to assign a note, document, etc to a particular case one time, as it stands now you have to do it twice. 3. You should not allow a client to be archived with funds in their trust account. 4. The client "note" section should demand that their "note" also be included in a case. Right now we sometimes put notes under a client, and it does not show up for their case. 5. We have an active court docketing, we use a work around with the SOL feature. I wish we could turn on a court docket feature, and works the exact same as the SOL. 6. I think you would net more money if you reduced the website design to market rates. All in all this software has immediately become integral to my practice, and its great.

MyCase is a really good platform for one stop shopping when it comes to the operation of my practice. Case files are housed neatly in folders on the cloud and readily accessible; unlike the dogeared folders most of us keep jammed in file cabinets or temporarily misplaced in the office. Documents saved in the system are organized so that I can grab them on the go from my iPhone or iPad. The time and billing features are easy to use and make invoicing simple. The only thing that would make the billing feature better in my opinion would be to make invoices and invoice amounts available on mobile devices. Do that and you are five star in my book.

Overall I like it. However, you need to offer an offline option that can be used when there is no internet.

We can do batch invoicing but then it takes forever to print each individual invoice. Really need to have batch printing in place.

Some security issues. Whwn I lost my password, I was given access by calling, but never had to prove who I was. Very concerning. Mobile apps need to be updated. Now the good... Very convenient. Great client interaction. Excellent timekeeping and billing.

I love using MyCase because it is very user friendly. However, the document program has a lot of hiccups and needs a major overhaul. Also I would love to be able to add a time entry from Documents, Notes & Email integration. Whenever I send an email, I have to integrate and then put in a time entry. I also have this issue with notes & documents. Other programs have a button that allows you to kill 2 birds with one stone.
