I was shipped the wrong item - totally wrong color - of a polo shirt. I went to the Orvis return webpage. It did offer "wrong item" , however, you go on to the next webpage and you are offered the choice of getting to drive to an Orvis store (about an hour away) for FREE! - or - pay $6.95 for a shipping label! I have spent about 2 hrs on 2 phone calls to finally get a supervisor to email me a free label. NEVER AGAIN. I'm done with Orvis.....

Terrible company with over priced clothing and dismal customer service. They run 'sales" with items you cannot order. Classic bait and switch. Not worth it.

Purchased a product from Orvis, but size was wrong. So purchased the same product in a different size. Paid both times. Got return authorization and sent the original back for refund. They received it on August 17th. Have failed to refund thus far, using a Covid 19 excuse for not opening the package for 48 hours (as though that will prevent Covid spread). Then the excuse that they don't work on the weekend (product was received on Tuesday). Then, it can take weeks to process a refund. And that was backed by supervisor John, after chat with Darla. All in all, a poor excuse for a company which is supposed to be tops in customer service.

1 Star is way too much credit, but I can't leave a comment without choosing one. Just purchased a Orvis Encounter 8 WT. flyrod combo from Amazon.com. I blame some of my content on my not researching Orvis more. I grew up in the 60's through the 80's really feeling that a Orvis flyrod set was the elite as it gets and could never afford one, although I loved to fly-fish for trout in rivers and streams throughout NY, PA and OH. When I received my kit the first thing that caught my eye was the rod was made in China! Sorry Orvis but I'm done with your product. I will donate it to someone who does not mind this fact and move to a USA made product.

I wouldn't pay $5 for things they advertise for $89! All their products look great on their website, but what I receive in the mail is a fake, half attempt at some form of imitation they advertise. I will never buy from Orvis again! I'm more tempted to call the BBB and my attorney for the scam they're running!!

I ordered two women's tees. I was sent one and a shirt that I did not order. Never received the second tee that I did order. Customer service was not helpful. I am returning the one tee I did receive, (not the quality I expected), and the unknown item that was sent to me. I have reached out several times and still not resolved. I either need the second tee or my money refunded. This was my first and last order with Orvis.

I bought two polos for $89 each. The quality was terrible! I had to pay shipping to and from for something so weak! Unbelievable!

Avoid this store like the plague! I had the misfortune of ordering an item from them, almost 250 bucks, overpriced but supposedly the quality was great. Anyway, item arrives, does not fit me (which is another issue altogether, I ordered a size 40 for a jacket, my usual size, this was tailored by amateurs, it was way too big). So I return the thing promptly and obviously expected a refund just as promptly. A week later still no refund, call them up, some lady tells me it can take 3 weeks. I tell her that's unacceptable, tells me it's the pandemic, we go back and forth, two and a half weeks later still no refund. I also posted a negative review on their website. What do you know? the review magically never showed up. Also, the lady on the phone told me they were going to charge me for shipping. At this point, I'll be lucky to even get a refund at all. If you have issues with them and your credit card company allows it, dispute the charge. That's what I did. Hopefully, they'll now give me my money back. Terrible, terrible experience. What an awful company.
