After we adopted a 1-year-old supposedly healthy cat, our vet discovered a tumor on her liver. Surgery was in the thousands of dollars. PetFirst covered all charges, no questions asked. Submission of paperwork was straight forward with no red tape.

This insurance has literally paid for itself over the years. It is well worth the monthly investment, not to mention the peace of mind that I feel when I realize I don't have to deny my cats the lifesaving measures they sometimes need. Vet bills aren't nearly as scary when you know you're covered for those "big things!"

I am so thankful that I found Petfirst. A special thank you to Tony Holmes who was so kind and helpful when I first enrolled. I have 2 policies now, one for my 11 year old toy poodle and one for my 16 year old, Cockadachapoo, for about 4 a half years now. My deductible is different for each, and the monthly premiums are pretty reasonable rates. Filing a claim is easy and I receive a response in a reasonable length of time. Usually an email tells me when my claim is received, reviewed and either accepted or declined with an explanation. The company representatives have been very courteous and are always quick to respond to my concerns. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Petfirst to pet owners. I am so thankful that Petfirst, does just that, and continues to insure older dogs.

I didn't even know medical insurance was was something that was available for our 'extended family' until my veterinarian told me about it and gave me a brochure for PetFirst. I signed our new puppy up, our rescue, as well as our middle aged Pekingese. It has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. We've only had to use it once, but it was a major incident. (Everything is okay now!) Thanks to PetFirst we were free to worry about our girl and not our finances.
