I was denied, and they didn't tell me why. I was able to get it done at another place.

First time I went through the process last year the therapist was really helpful and full of information. This time I felt like the documented and assigned therapist was very short and not very informative and just wanted to get me off the phone and seemed irritated by my answers. I will continue to use this service next year as my first experience was stellar but I will ask to not be assigned this previous provider.

My objective wasnt fulfilled. My housing agency didnot accept the letter from Pettable. They asked for more documentation which the provider refused to give. Not happy with the experience! They did refund the money though.

My phone call was maybe 30 seconds long. There was no real verification or anything. While I am greatful for the service, I think that talking to a professional should last at least 5 minutes.

My licensed therapist was extremely rude & unprofessional! She questioned my mental health/military background. I’m not sure if she thought I was lying but she basically made it sound like if the military knew about my mental health problems then I would have been kicked out. Which is not true as the military diagnosed me & provided me help as I continued serving multiple years thereafter. She then proceeded to tell me I was wrong about getting an honorable discharge because I will be receiving disability which she claims is only for medical discharges. Wrong, I think I know which discharge I received. She persisted on saying I was wrong because her “family is prior army” so she knows. I felt extremely belittled and shocked to be spoken to like that regarding mental health issues!! By far the most uncomfortable encounter I’ve had with a “medical professional”. To top it all off, she made typos in my letter and spelled my name wrong so I had to have her resend me the letter. I haven’t used the letter so I can’t attest to its success but if it doesn’t work then I would give 0 stars!!!!

They were honestly quiet difficult with the ESA approval, and even requested a medical verification after my doctor provided a letter stating my diagnoses. Very odd, felt like they asked far too many questions to be in line with ADA guidelines. Felt like my medical privacy was violated.

The cost is $150 for a consult, but an additional $50 to have the therapist prove the documents provided are real when/if the landlord requests additional information. Therapist said this happens more than not, so Pettable is just nickle and diming you. Another $99 to renew the ESA every year? You are better off going to a local therapist and it would likely be cheaper and easier to deal with!
