The course is great, especially for beginners. It covers almost all the topics in the DevSecOps environment. The only issue is with the lab time. In my case, I'm working and I don't have as much time as I'd like, so it would be beneficial if the lab time were extended. For instance, I would like to complete all the optional labs, but I couldn't due to time constraints. Maybe 180 lab days intead of 90 would be better for people who are working.

The explanation plans were perfect, I had 0 experience before starting the ccse course and I had good explanation.

This certification is begginer friendly, what I liked the most is that it is focused on hands-on knowledge. However, it may feel repetitive to more experienced users, which is why the I gave 4 out of 5 points. It would also be great if the exam date selection could be more flexible as some people could benefit from not doing it during weekends.

I got experience in multiple CI/CD systems (Github Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins CI/CD, Gitlab CI/CD); picked up knowlege on Vulnerability mgmt systems, DAST, IaC, Ansible. The exam is difficult to pass. If one goes through the labs multiple times taking notes, one might pass the exam. I took about a month (about 80 hours) to clear the exams in the first attempt since I knew the basics. I guess if someone already has experience with app security tools and CICD integration, one may think, the cost of the course is little expensive. Cost is ok if you are new to devsecops.

Good course for beginners and intermediate, looking to expand their knowledge. However, the course could be better aimed for more advanced users by providing more examples and exercises in the labs

Great course content covering all the basics that you need to understand and know when it comes to DevSecOps.

The five day training was adequate and taught us adequately on the course content. Labs provided great exposure before the exam, however I wished that more time was provided for the labs as part of the course (maybe an option to pause when the labs are not completely in use?) Nonetheless experience was good overall, with the 12h exam giving a good insight into the overall CI/CD pipeline. I’m not sure if a refresher may be required after a couple years for the exam, lest I forget the course content.

Casp allows me to gain strong foundations in API security and web security. This is an excellent resource to know the API concepts and continue with this topic later.
