I purchased 4 XWFE refrigerator filters & they are counterfeit!! They do not have the chip needed & the ERROR message was given. Do not purchase!!

Same as the other reviews. The RPWFE filters are counterfeit and do not have the necessary chip to work with the GE refrigerator. I reported it to the BBB. I contacted my CC company and disputed the charge.

Fraudulently selling counterfeit GE RPWFE refrigerator water filters. These filters DO NOT work and are a 100% SCAM. Filters are very realistic but do not contain the OEM microchip necessary for operation. Received a full refund via PayPal Protection.

ZERO STARS!! DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! These folks are selling fraudulent GE XWFE refrigerator water filters. Everything looks good on initial inspection, including the packaging and instruction insert. However, the filters lack the serial number on the top rim, the QR code on the label, and, most importantly, the RFID embedded in the label that allows the ice maker and water dispenser to work. SCAMMERS!

Filters are fake. Filters do NOT have the RFID chip that is required for the refrigerator.

Actually, I give it no Star. I wish I had read the reviews other people had written before I placed my order. I got scammed. Filters didn't work. I ordered 3 ge xwfe filters, and each one didn't work. I was perplex since each one looked exactly like the one I was replacing, label and filter size and it fit into socket fine, but refig displayed ERR on each one.
