Always been happy with product etc but this time with the 2 container garbage cabinet... the instructions weren't very helpful especially the drawer part and the video wasn't helpful

Cabinets are decent. Was missing a few screws in the box. The customer service was also decent, had to send follow up emails to get a reply most of the time.

This product is better that the other ready to assembly cabinets and they have several Inset designs that the others don't offer. Make sure you download the PDF as these assemble differently that others.

Our experience with The Cabinet Spot company itself was great! Their cabinets are ready-to-assemble (RTA), but are made with care and precision. The joints in the face frames were almost invisible! There were a few defects in the fit of the doors, but they remedied that asap. They were willing to hold our order until we were ready to receive it, but when we were ready, they shipped it out immediately. Our one BIG problem was with the shipping company they used. That company made 4 appointments to deliver and cancelled three of them. The first one we cancelled because they tried to deliver the shipment at 7pm — an hour later than the 10am to 6pm time slot we were told to expect — and in pitch-black darkness. We had already left the construction site after waiting there all day and they called and asked if we could go back and “turn on a light” because the delivery guy couldn’t find the property. This is a construction site in a rural area—there are no lights! We specifically called at 5pm and told them not to deliver after dark, but were ignored. We finally decided to drive our two pickup trucks a round trip of 2 hours (85 miles) to pick up the 2 pallets and one long package ourselves. At first they couldn’t locate the order, then after a long wait, deposited it into our trucks. We had to offload the individual boxes from the pallets because they had broken the base pallets and they were too unstable to transport. When we did that, we noticed—and documented—that several of the boxes had been impaled by pieces of the broken pallet, causing severe damage to the cabinets. The Cabinet Spot asked for documentation which we supplied, then they very promptly replaced the cabinets. They were very responsive and apologetic, even though the problem was not of their making. I hope they rethink the company they use for shipping in the future. I know this doesn’t sound like a stellar review, but The Cabinet Spot would have gotten 5 stars from me, if their shipping company hadn’t been so awful.

Very satisfied overall, with a couple caveats. The fit of the pieces was as advertised, I did not have any significant issues with putting the cabinets together, but there are places where the cut quality was not what I would expect for what are to me fairly expensive cabinets. To the point that some joints and seams are borderline unacceptable. However, given where I was putting them (laundry room) and how they were to be installed (only the fronts visible, and the interiors largely at eye level or above) I was okay with the appearance. More importantly, the finish on several of the exterior side of the side panels was only acceptable because they were being installed wall to wall in the laundry room and therefore the side panels were not going to be visible. This might not have been an issue if the finish were not dark cherry, I can't say. If they were white or a lighter finish, the seams and joint issue might not be obvious, but not sure about the side panels. Moral of the story, look at all the pieces and consider where and how they are to be installed and what parts are visible. Two other minor points, there was a chip (about the size of a dime) on one edge of a shelf, and a couple blemishes that were repaired on the exterior of an outside panel where the repairs were a bit subpar and obvious. I did not make any effort to notify the company and see what their response might be, so I can't speak to a customer service experience, but I am planning on making them aware of these issues. Addendum: Contacted Customer Service, and as I expected, they would have been happy to replace the parts, but since they are in use and installed, that was a non-starter as they seemed to want them returned. Given that I wasn't going to be doing that I did not ask about the logistics of that process (read: who pays?) and I could almost hear the giggling when I mentioned a modest credit, by which I meant refund, so that wasn't going to happen. However, I am not surprised by this, or seriously disappointed. I have my cabinets and they are doing their thing.

Vic is wonderful, and the cabinets have been great. My only complaint was the cost for shipping. The hinges I ordered cost about $25, and shipping was about $25. That seems crazy to me.

Overall nice quality but a few issues to note and suggest for improvement. I try to avoid "made in China" products that need assembly due to poor translation by the manufacturer for US customers. Not only did I not receive any assembly instructions the ones I did find online were greatly lacking in information. Due to the simplicity of assembly I was able to overcome. There were also screws provided without any direction for which go where and were short on some but had enough across the three cabinets. The drawer slides didn't have instructions either and again I found some online. Screws provided didn't make any sense. Lastly one of the three cabinets had a shallow toekick so didn't match with the others so I had to add 5/8" board to one to make look correct. Not sure how that could even happen in the factory. Suggestions are: 1) put instructions on the website and provide with the shipment if possible; 2) annotate the instructions to be complete and show which screws go where; 3) look into why toekick depth is not consistent. Had no damage in shipping and cabinets look nice.

Blue gray shaker inset could use more options like glass fronts. Could you create the same color/tone in stained finish? Also notify of the UPS delivery in case I'm not home. Also put an actual link to your site on this rating page!
