Apt AIReviews of tryapt.ai

It's a low quality app. Using free AI is better. THERE IS NO OPTION TO CANCEL. LAME! I do not recommend it to anyone.

I purchased APT and it was not for me. I very quickly within the first 30 minutes requested a refund and they told me they issued it and I never received it. I have since requested again and I have been ignored. I would like a refund.

IT'S NOT FREE. Pressure selling tactics with a timer on results screen to buy a subscription before losing access to your results - possible against UK Trading Standards rules for not displaying full costs upfront. Lures you into submitting all your information including linkedin info & extensive questionnaire before revealing that to receive results you must pay

I got married and moved in, 3 weeks later I had a domestic dispute with my husband and I moved back home to Texas. He won’t sign for me to get off the lease and they won’t take me off, this isn’t right to have this go against me. All they say is the can’t that’s a lie, they could if they wanted to. Be careful with this place and there amenities are always closed

What a scam. The purchase options made it look like I'd be paying $11.99 per month, and that I could cancel at any time. But it turns out that I was charged a lump sum of $143.88. This is misleading marketing and it feels like you're trying to purposely scam consumers. Furthermore, the job recommendations sent to me based on my profile are completely useless, because all of the jobs recommended for me are based in England or California - nowhere close to where I live. I purposely answered in my questions that I'd prefer to work in-office, and not remotely, so these jobs are of no use to me. Even when I refined my job matches to only include jobs in my city, it only came up with jobs in 3,000 km from where I live, and at a lower pay bracket than what I had specified. It also came up with a lot of marketing jobs, for which I have absolutely no training or experience, and no interest. It is incomprehensible to me that I could be recommended for high-level corporate marketing positions when I have absolutely no training in that area, and my profile makes it clear that I have no training in that area. This service is completely useless. I have gotten no value from my purchase, and I doubt I ever will. When I contacted customer service, they told me that they could not refund my yearly subscription but they could change me to a monthly subscription. And yet, I see from other reviewers' posts that they are providing refunds to other people. What a scam.

The company doesn't deliver on its advertisement. The job suggestions it provides are scams or jobs that don't exist, along with roles you don't meet the criteria for, e.g. must have a PhD or must speak German. The app can do a good job of making resumes and cover letters but it's no better then chatGPT. It promises to work with you to get a job or build a plan so you can move towards your dream role - it doesn't do that. It's memory feature is unpredictable and from my experience became fixated on the initial results of the quiz. Location wise, despite constantly reiterating I don't want to work in the US and would only consider jobs in the EU and Aus - it would offer jobs in the US frequently and you would have to insist every time.

Absolutely crap! Don’t be fooled by the false advertising saying that they can help you find a perfect career change. I fed their LLM Chat Bot a bunch of personal information about me, to only have it suggest 10+ jobs that are already what I am doing in my career. This is nothing more than a rebranded instance of ChatGPT pretending to be intelligent enough to help you find a new career. Don’t pay money to be a beta tester for an unfinished product. I WANT A 100% REFUND!!!

A COMPLETE SCAM - COMPLETE! After seeing some of your impressive advertisements, I decided to try this app. It preys on people pondering a career changes (usually out of frustration, desperation, etc). Ther app, per very beautiful and probably expensive advertisements, promised an in-depth analysis of my personality and career trajectory or possible future direction. In substance, you took £20 from me, used an AI to chat with me for 4-5 minutes (often repeating questions which breach privacy, possibly as data gathering) and then spewing out a set of results I already knew. There is completely no added value. You do not much work - use an AI - and come up with suggestions or an analysis that is far more shallow than Myers-Briggs itself, the colour tests, and other in-depth career coaching tests. And then your platform sends me jobs which bear no relevance whatsoever to possible career paths I wish to explore. You even sent me one to Montreal Canada when I am based in the UK. For those reading, use Jack & Jill instead - they are a proper job search/recruitment AI company. And I am not working for them but I have used Jack & Jill for 3 months and found it suitable and effective. This APT AI app a complete prototype masquerading as a proper, fully developed, app. And they have made it very difficult for me to unsubscribe or cancel because when I log on, I cannot find anything to allow me to amend my payment/subscription. Surely that must be a breach of some privacy/online safety requirement. Really disappointing.
