We got separated from the group because…
We got separated from the group because headphones stop working so we missed the last part of the tour but our tour guide was very knowledgable .

Did not get what we paid for.
We paid for an early entrance to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel however, the guide gave us a historical overview before entering, so we went in with the crowds. She did give us valuable information on getting into St Peter's since she could not gain entrance with the group. Were never offered a partial refund.

As noted on our website: Please note: starting December 2024, access to St. Peter's Basilica may be limited due to the Vatican's Jubilee Year 2025, which includes special events and ceremonies. These closures are determined by the Vatican and are beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding. The special access passage between the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and subject to other unexpected closures during special celebrations/festivities, including the Easter ceremonies. On such days we will instead explore the magnificent Pinoteca Gallery. Please accept our sincerest apologies that this experience fell short of the high standards we strive to provide. Tour guide was great but got lost in mass of people
Tour guide was very good but going through Vatican City was brutal, so many people you felt like herded cattle. From beginning to end, just a mass of people, hot, no space to move. If do this tour, do early morning I'm guessing. Not fault of tour guide but 35,000 people going through the Vatican daily is awful. 30 years ago was much different, too bad it is so congested now. Makes it hard to enjoy the beauty, especially the Sistine Chapel. I would avoid the Vatican museum and just do Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. 3-hours is too long under these conditions.

The tour was ok
The tour was good. The guide was knowledgeable. It was very fast paced. Also it didn’t include all the features as advertised by the website. When I asked one of the organizers they simply said oh it’s in the fine print that the tours are subject to change. That’s poor customer service especially since they charge so much money.

Good tour.
This tour was well organized and thorough. The tour guide spoke clearly and demonstrated a solid knowledge of the Vatican and history. She displayed a sense of humour and patience. Unfortunately the tour did not include St Peter’s due to Jubilee Year activity. Although this was beyond the control of Walks, prior information could have been shared with some ideas or information on how we could have visited on our own.

Great tour guide, bit misleading with the time.
The tour guide was great, had great information and kept the tour going at a nice pace and answering questions as they came up. The issue with the tour was the description of the tour and the time start. We started at 745am and had to meet at the starting point at 730am making it appear we were going to enter early with less crowds. We did not, we enter at 9am with all the other tours and it was packed. What you do safe is time standing in line, it is organized and someone that knows the procedure of getting u around. Some people were disappointed because of such an early start and getting in at 9am that the Sistine Chaple was packed. As a solo traveler where I value time, this saved me time and frustration standing in separate lines. The guide took us where we needed to be.

When I did this tour before
When I did this tour before, we were in the Sistine Chapel first before the crowds ! Then we did everything else, It was suppose to be a small group tour, the four ladies got separated and didn't meet up again until outside

I liked getting into the Vatican Museum…
I liked getting into the Vatican Museum when It opened for the lack of crowds and I liked being able to go from the Vatican Museum directly to the Basilica without having to walk all the way around. I thought the guide rushed us through the museum and was clearly bored in the way he repeated the same rote comments. The 7+ references to Raphael dying of syphilis over the course of the tour were probably unnecessary.
