About Workada
Workada connects highly skilled people with flexible, remote work training the AI systems that are reshaping how the world works. Our contributors review, label, and evaluate real content: the judgment calls that make AI more accurate and useful for the people relying on it. AI needs good human judgment behind it, and the people providing that judgment deserve real flexibility and a company that actually invests in them, through training, feedback, and room to grow into more skilled, paid work over time. If you want meaningful remote work that fits around your life, not the other way around, Workada is the place to be.
Workada (workada.com) has 82 customer reviews on Folks Told, with an average rating of 3.5 out of 5.
Was suddenly off boarded for no reason and my account paused “after several warnings were issued to me about quality” which is a complete lie. I’ve never received any warnings and have always did stellar quality work.
Don’t depend on this company for your income.

Beware of this Company
I genuinely loved Workada at first. It felt like a great company to work for, or at least, that's what I believed. I started in August and was offboarded with no warning and no explanation in October. They just deactivated my account and sent an email. It was the same generic email that 300+ other workers got. I know this because I read Reddit, and people who still work there commented that they did a mass offboarding.
During the time I worked there, I also got multiple emails saying there was an issue with the pay system and that pay wouldn't be sent out when it was supposed to be. I mean, who wants to pay their bills on time and actually have money anyway, right?
They also changed how you get paid. You used to get paid to be on the sites you needed for work (the Workada dashboard, Slack, Multimango, and Google for research). You were told to look things up on Google if you weren't sure what they were. Then, all of a sudden, you were only paid for 90 minutes a week to be on your dashboard, Slack, and Google. That is nowhere close to enough time to research things or be on Slack. Slack is the only way to communicate with your pod lead, mind you, and you also had to search Slack for answers before you were allowed to ask a question. All changes and everything else went into Slack, which was constant. It took a while to get caught up on all the changes and whatnot there.
This company is a farce. All these fake positive reviews were asked for. Don't believe the hype! I'm sure half of them will be back to leave negative reviews once they're offboarded for no reason as well.

I wasn't going to leave a review until…
I wasn't going to leave a review until I found out that after seeing the bad reviews, Workada sent out a mass email asking for everyone to leave a positive review, so here's my review as a former worker.

Also, if you see the review the PL left about not being forced to do quizes, meetings, etc... THAT'S a lie!!! There were MANY people in Slacking saying that their PL's were making them do those things.

Just look up Workada in Reddit, it will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know :)

No accountability
This company let thousands of workers go with little to no explanation. Just a blanket statement “We cannot give specific details” and stating thousands of people broke guidelines.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They are a contractor for someone else. Lots of technical issues. All the "leaders" are fake and have AI pictures. Only support through slack. There is nobody to call, no HR department if something goes wrong. And it will. Their response? A generic canned response. Blame it on the company they're contracted through, Multi Mango. Since the issue is with Multi Mango you have to get it fixed through them. Turn around time is a few weeks, IF it will get fixed.

Same as every other platform
Same as every other platform. They don't care about the workers; just to eat money off our backs.

Offboarded without explanation
I was removed from my project within 36 hours of starting tasking, with no warning, no feedback on my work, and no clear reason. The only notice was a generic email saying my status had been paused after a review of my submissions, without saying what the issue was.
I've contacted support more than twice asking for a manual review and specific feedback so I could correct any mistakes, but I haven't received a response. My earnings for completed work were paid, but for a platform that relies on contributors, offboarding new people this quickly with no explanation or way to appeal is frustrating.
Clearer feedback and a responsive support team would make a big difference.
