The company refused to refund me for an annual subscription payment, which is very unpleasant, and I feel we have been scammed. I will never buy anything from them, and I will make sure that none of our clients, customers, or partners do the same. Extremely unpleasant.

Never used their service. I completely forgot about the subscription. (they didn't send reminder, guess why.) when I have realized my mistake few hours late. They refused to refund even when they knew I never used their service. This feels very dishonest and sketchy. Good people wouldn't act like this.

Update: It's very unfortunate the way this company handled their interaction with me. I have asked repeatedly for the last 2 weeks for help, it's taken 3-4 days per response, which were very minimal - a manager stepped in once, to notify me after a week that the person taking care of my case fell under a medical emergency, but this is still unacceptable that my case was not handed off to someone else to be taken care of. I've struggled with this business now for 2 weeks, and the manager has become very hostile, angry at my "impatience". I got an immediate response as soon as I posted this review, which shows me they were either intentionally avoiding me as a customer case or just negligent. I get the feeling they were just pushing me to ask for the refund instead of offering help - so, I finally gave up and just asked for the refund. I don't recommend doing business with these, very poor customer support and the one plugin I bought did not work. ____________________________________________ I purchased a plugin from this company, but it doesn't not work - and they have not offered any support. It takes 5-6 days for a response, and their attitude is unhelpful.

Update: Thank you Shea for editing you review and removing the false claim that you could not receive a refund. Very noble of you. Unfortunately the remainder of your review is also completely untrue. At no point during the support process did we take 5 days to get back to you... Not even close. In fact, the longest time between communication was 2 days and that was when we were waiting on information from you. Once again I wish TrustPilot would allow us to provide proof of these completely untrue statements. Also, not once did I become angry at your "impatience". I never said anything or eluded to anything of the sort. The only think I mentioned were the completely false statements made in your review. You removed one of the false statements, but have added several others. Hi Shea, This is perhaps the most untruthful review we have ever received and I have the screenshots to prove it. We responded to your support ticket almost immediately and at the time you wrote this review you had not yet provided us with the information we requested. More importantly at the time of this review you had not even requested a refund... you had not even mentioned it so I am seriously perplexed as to why you would write this. When I called you out on this fact you stated that you do not even want a refund at this time. Once you actually requested a refund it was refunded within 1 hour. We could not replicate the issue you are having (even on your own site) and you are running a seriously outdated version of PHP and have over 40 plugins on your site. No other customers have reported the issue you are describing.

This company appears to be a rebranding of Aspen Grove Studios (aspengrovestudios.com). I recommend reading the reviews for Aspen Grove Studios on Trustpilot. To view archived versions of their website for a clean redirect, you can use webarchive. By doing so, you will notice that it is the same company. I do not recommend conducting any business with them due to these shady practices.

Hello, firstly we have no record of a customer by your name which makes this review void. Secondly there is no hiding the fact that we rebranded. Since our inception we have acquired several company's. Aspen Grove Studios acquired Divi Space and Potent plugins. Running multiple websites became too much of a chore so we decided to consolidate and rebrand as WP Zone. We made several anouncements to our customer base and had banners on the website for several months that informed people of this. In addition if you visit our website it says "an Aspen Grove Studios Company" in the footer. What shady practices are you even eluding to? This review should be taken down because as far as we know you are a competitor trying to damage our reputation.

Just want to tell other developpers to read twice the subscription policy before to buy a pluggin, because if you claim you weren't aware of this automatic renewal program and ask for a refund (which is your right I guess if you no longer use the pluggin) you will have a negative answer.

Hello, we inform users throughout the checkout process that the purchase is an annual subscription (unless it is a lifetime license). The subscription can be canceled at any time from within your account. Our 14 day refund and renewal refund policies are made clear and are agreed to at the time of purchase. In addition we also provided proof to you that we sent a 2 week renewal reminder email.

Customer Service is Abysmal A plugin I haven't used for 9 months auto-renewed with no notice. They refused to give a refund saying that "due to the nature of digital products blah blah blah" even though --no additional virtual merchandise was received -- I received ZERO emails letting me know my subscription was going to renew -- and even though I emailed support immediately after my unexpected renewal. Not a fan of this business model.

Hi Lindsay, it is unfortunate that you reviewed and agreed to our terms and conditions prior to purchase, and still chose to write this review. We do not hide the fact that the purchase is a renewal and you could have logged into your account at any time beforehand to cancel. We do in-fact send emails out two weeks beforehand and have plenty of customers respond to these emails. It should be noted that this review has nothing to do with our customer service and support, which our customers consider excellent. It should also be noted that your license was/is still active and our product was/is still installed on multiple websites.

I paid to download Page Builder Everywhere for use on a single site (specifically not choosing the annual membership option also listed) and neither needed nor received any further service from divi.space. Imagine my surprise a year later when I got a "your subscription has been successfully renewed" email saying my card had been debited. I immediately contacted the sender (Aspen Grove Studios) to advise I was unaware of any subscription and had now cancelled, and to refund the charge given no service was desired or would be provided. They flat out refused referring to the fine print on their website. The refusal to refund an annual service fee (cancelled on the same day charged) demonstrates they don't try to earn this fee, hence why they don't ever email you mentioning your annual subscription before they charge your card again. But the original transaction receipt emailed to me does not mention any annual charge, renewal or subscription. This is clearly deceptive. I encourage everyone to contact their bank to get a chargeback applied (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX process). Send your bank your receipt as part of the chargeback dispute and you should win. Deceptive vendors charging fees for no service (and with no disclosure of renewal charges on their transaction receipt emails) should be driven out of business or forced to be honest.

I received a free 1-Year Divi Space membership from Elegant Themes last year. It was part of their annual Black Friday promotion. I have a web design agency and I mainly use Divi as a website builder. I came across a bunch of third party plugins/membership in the past 3 years and I have to say, Divi Space is not one of them that impressed me the most so far. My team and I gave it a try since it was free. After a week of trying it, we all came to the conclusion that it didn't serve us much, so we quickly forgot about it. The design of their child themes and layout packs lack in innovation from a design standpoint. I have to say Elegant Themes does a much better job at it, and at a much faster rate (twice a week). Their plugins serve almost not purposes after Divi 4.0 update.. One of them I liked was "WP and Divi Icons", it has cool features. Divi Rocket is not even close to be as good as WP Rocket (good job on finding a unique name btw), Divi switch is just adding bloat to Divi for some really simple CSS tweaks. Page Builder everywhere is basically the same thing (but less intuitive) as the Divi 4.0 Theme Builder. I tried to Testify on 1 website, huge waste of time. I didn't test recently though, I hope they improved it since... Overall, I would not recommend. On top of all this, I got charged 149 USD for the renewal 1-year later. I asked the support for a refund on the same day the transaction passed, and they refused right away. As I said before, I bought many third party plugins in the past couple years, and I can always tell the quality of the product by how reluctant the authors are to provide a refund. Whenever a plugin author is confident about its product, and they care about customer satisfaction, they provide refunds no questions asked. So this adds up to my disappointments towards Divi Space as a business. I hope this will help some of you. Happy designing all!
