42nd Street tried to tell us that we had to pay $500 more for the camera and lens that worked in the US. They said I accidentally ordered the European version. So I believed them and paid an extra $500. Turns out, there are not two types. They are refusing to credit me the $500. I can be reached at 720-220-8852 12/21/21015. After reading my negative review, a rep from 42nd Street called and has resolved this issue. A refund was issued as requested. Thanks 42nd Street for doing the right thing.

Everything went as expected. Ordered a new strap for my camera. They were the least expensive for the same item anywhere else I could find. It arrived when expected.

I ordered 2 Canon 5D Mark II from 42nd street photo as they offered a real low price on the internet. My own 2 cameras were stolen, so I needed the replacement asap. 1 day later I received a call from a sales rep asking me to confirm, that I ordered 2 demo models of the Mark II and not the Mark III. I was surprised, as NOWHERE on their www pages was mentioned, that these bodies are NOT new. Asking him about the condition he mentioned mint, the bodies were showcase units. So I agreed. A week later I received the bodies. One had nearly 6000 shots on the shutter, the 2nd one 3000. Battery, charger and strap were cheap 3rd party equipment. Finally they took care and the problems were solved.

I ordered a battery for my Canon Rebel XSI. 42nd Street shipped the battery quickly and it was brand new as advertised. So, I bought my Nikon D750, because I been saving for almost a year &making the transition from canon to Nikon, they had the camera on special for 1479, so I went n bought it, this was Friday morning, I did not get a phone call or something saying that it was accepted or anything until Monday , the guy that I spoke with say, sr. I am about to send your camera, but there is a small detail or problem. I say mmmm what is it, he said, the camera that you purchased is the IMPORT model. a course, I was like, no no no, I read the details on the camera and it doesn't say anything about been the import model,he said , yes you are correct it doesn't say anything about that, We pull it off so people don't get confused!!! I'm like this is so confusing now, what you mean you took it off the description, you are telling me I am buying a 1500 dollar camera with no Warranty because you don't want to confuse people over been a little more detail on your description.. . He said We apologize for that, but I can give you a great deal on the camera with warranty, he say let me ask my manager, it took him like 10 seconds and he said, ohh great news I can sell you this camera for 1699, Sr is a great deal, If I were you I'would not think it twice, is an awesome camera, and it comes with a 3 year warranty, I had to say yes since I had already sold my old canon and I had a photo shoot on the weekend! I kind of regret it saying yes but I need it a camera, but I don't agree, that if you are having something so expensive and important like a camera on sale, please be specific and stand to the price you are giving and don't do this bull.... To people, is a Scam in my opinion!
