Was surprised the company would not refund a cancellation request that was only a couple weeks after renewal even after I shared I was on FMLA during the renewal period. I had several rounds of incompassionate exchanges with customer service. As someone who works in product management, I would be wildly embarrassed by such a company response.

We cancelled weeks before renewal and they are still trying to charge us a year in advance for services we aren't using. Worst SAAS company we've ever worked with.

They basically steal your money.
Accessibe is terrible. Avoid at all costs. We have an agency account with them with several licenses for various clients. One of our ex clients requested to move their license off of the agency account and into their own account. Of course you have to jump through hoops with their "support" team to get that done. However, we finally got it done. The client opened their own account, and the license was moved away from our account.
Yet, somehow, months later, when it came time for that client license to renew, they charged OUR card. So, not only did they move the license out of our account to the client account, they also moved our billing information. So, our card was charged for THEIR license months later. I do not even have access to this account to remove our payment method. They were not authorized to charge our card. I have been given the run around for a couple of months now, and they keep promising a refund, yet I've seen no refund in well over a month. They are a sketchy, sketchy company.
Additionally, if you don't cancel a license 30 days prior to the actual end date of the license, you're stuck with it for another year. They are a greedy, greedy bunch, and they make everything impossible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Cancellation policy changed without my acceptance, now my clients are stuck paying
I was an accessiBe partner for over two years and brought more than 12 clients onto their platform. I recommended them in good faith because I believed in the service and trusted the company.
Recently I went to cancel several client accounts. Pricing had gotten high and those clients no longer wanted the service. I was told a new 30-day cancellation policy prevents me from cancelling before renewal. Some of these accounts are still weeks away from their renewal date, so this is not a case of cancelling at the last minute.
I never signed anything, checked a box, or formally agreed to this policy. accessiBe says they sent an email about it. In my opinion a general email is not enough for a change that affects billing and cancellation rights. I had an assigned account manager the entire time and was never contacted directly about it.
As it stands, six of my clients are looking at roughly $600 each for a service they told me they no longer want. That falls on me, because I am the one who recommended accessiBe and vouched for them.
I have spent hours going back and forth over email and chat. The only option offered was transferring the licenses to other clients, which does not solve the problem. I still have clients being charged for something they asked to cancel.
If you are an agency or partner considering accessiBe, get their current cancellation terms in writing before you put clients on the platform.

Disappointing Customer Service and…
Disappointing Customer Service and Cancellation Experience
We decided not to renew our accessiBe subscription because it no longer met our needs. Before the renewal date, accessiBe sent us an email stating that our annual subscription would renew on September 3 “unless canceled by August 4.”
We submitted our cancellation request by email on August 4, the exact date specified in the notice. Support later informed us that they would not honor the cancellation because their office had already closed for the day, and our email wasn’t processed until August 5. They explained that their support team operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern and that requests received after business hours are treated as being received the following day.
The problem is that none of this was disclosed in the renewal notice. The email did not mention a business-hours cutoff, a specific timezone, or that a cancellation had to be manually processed before the end of the day. It simply stated that the subscription could be canceled by August 4.
We escalated the issue to our account manager, explained the discrepancy, and requested that the cancellation be honored based on the language in the renewal notice. We received no response.
This experience ultimately reinforced our decision not to continue with accessiBe. While the product itself was adequate, how a company handles customers at the end of a relationship says a great deal about its values. We expected a reasonable discussion or at least a response from management. Instead, we were met with a rigid interpretation of an undisclosed policy and then silence.
If you’re considering accessiBe, I’d encourage you to pay close attention to the renewal terms and cancellation process, and if you intend not to renew, submit your cancellation well in advance of any stated deadline.

Such a bad company and service
Extremely disappointing company with an even worse support system. I currently have several clients using their services, but I am actively looking for alternatives because dealing with this company has become unnecessarily difficult.
Canceling a service requires contacting someone directly, and it can take days just to reach a representative by phone. I have also been assigned a new account manager nearly every month, which suggests significant employee turnover and creates a complete lack of consistency or accountability.
From a customer’s perspective, the entire experience has been frustrating, disorganized, and exhausting. I am looking forward to moving all of my clients away from this platform.
I would not recommend this company or its ADA services. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration, and choose a more reliable provider.

Stay away!
Do not recommend. They do not treat people reasonably. And, after taking my money for a service not used, I find out they can't even back up what they say they actually do. Do your research and buyer beware.
