AED Superstore Defibtech 15V battery defect...TOO BAD! My lose!
I'm posting this review here because when I review the product on AED Superstore's website, the review never gets posted. I've emailed a couple of times asking why my review wasn't posted but have never gotten a response even though the website says you can expect a response within 30 minutes. I ordered a refresh pack for the Defibtech Lifeline AED which included the 15V battery that I needed. Here is the review I left on there website: This is a 15V battery. Upon arrival it measured 13.66V (using a new calibrated Fluke 87 dvm). I contacted the seller and they referred me to call Defibtech. Defibtech wants to send me a data card to install, remove and ship back to them in order to collect data and analyze. Haven't received card yet. But if I order a 15V battery, the voltage should read higher than 15V, not 13.6V. That battery is very degraded. In my position at work, I work with batteries everyday, build battery packs, order numerous batteries, etc. If I receive a battery not up to par, the company I bought it from replaces it. Not AED superstore! If you open the package, you are not allowed to send it back. How in the hell would you know if you received a good product or even the correct product if you don't open it? Very dissatisfied with the way this has been handled and do not recommend purchasing from AEDSuperstore!
