Very easy to book, great bang for the buck, not easy to get a hold of customer service when problem arises, itinerary was pretty tight not leaving enough leeway between locations, some of the hotels were not 4 star as promised but they were all good enough. It included upgrades at some hotels and breakfasts at all hotels. Overall worth it.

Mixed Experience – Beautiful Castles, Poor Communication, and Misleading Marketing We recently booked the "Castle Stay" tour through Aer Lingus Vacation Store, which was supposed to include three castle stays and one hotel. While parts of the trip were truly wonderful, the overall experience was a mixed bag—and the customer service left much to be desired. Let’s start with the positives: Cabra Castle and Lough Rynn Castle were exactly what we hoped for—rich in history, stunning architecture, and a memorable experience for the whole family. These truly felt like castle stays and received glowing reviews from us. Hotel Woodstock, although not a castle, was a very nice stay. The service and accommodations were great—but let’s be clear, it’s not a castle. Including it in a “Castle Stay” package feels like stretching the truth a bit. The biggest disappointment was Dunboyne Castle. This is not a castle stay in any real sense. There’s an old building at the front with no access and no history shared. The rest is just a generic hotel. If you’re going to market something as a castle, it should feel like a castle. Dunboyne doesn’t. Booking was another frustrating part of this experience. We booked in August for a family of four. Somehow we ended up with the dreaded "bathroom seats" on the flight over—uncomfortable and noisy. We tried to add an extra day to the trip and were met with weeks of radio silence, broken promises, and three different calls before someone finally stayed on the line long enough to help. By then, we were told it would cost $2,200 to make the change. It felt like if we had been helped promptly the price might’ve been more reasonable, but who knows? Once your payment is processed, their customer service basically disappears. We made the best of the trip and enjoyed Ireland itself, but if you're booking the "Castle Stay" package, just know that only two of the four places are truly castles. The rest either don't qualify or are misrepresented. I’d strongly recommend they rethink the name of the package to better reflect what’s actually being offered—and drastically improve their follow-up support.

Just booked a trip to Paris, London & Amsterdam and was for 3699 each after being told the original quote of 3199 each was no longer available, I booked it anyway only to find out 3 days later that they are still selling the trip at the 3199 price. Hopefully the trip will be worth it , but I feel like I was taken . So be wary

My wife and I just returned from a 10 day Ireland Castle tour and were disappointed in two of the castles, Bunratty and Dunboyne. They are hotels only and not the original castle as indicated on the ad. They don't fully explain the rental car insurance which we ended up paying $700 dollars additional for although the Enterprise staff were great to deal with. All the hotels were pleasant and we had no issues with the staff only the AerLingus misrepresentation of the castle trip. Also, don't bother calling the 800 number unless you have time to sit on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes.

For a flight that is so long nd is still costly there were 3 from my family that flew. The seats were horrible first time ever. I am flying with Aer Lingus since I am a little girl. We were in row 10 ABC whatever it goes from there I was at the window my husband Than my son. We sat down it was awful the seat it went back nd it didn’t fit properly on the seat. Just awful I have 2 disease with my muscles nd joints I was crippled by the time I arrived in Shannon nd was getting into the wheel chair. You should invest a bit into those cushions they are just awful.

The accommodations were wonderful. The trip was spectacular. My only gripe would be the option for VIP insurance for the car. I had pre-paid for it, but when I got to the Dooley desk they asked for a paper copy of the receipt/voucher which I had not received. It arrived in my email later that day, 9 days after I had paid for it. In order to be issued the car, Dooley had to charge me 500.00 for their VIP option, which they reimbursed me once I returned the car, (funds available in my bank account 1 day after that). It would benefit others in the future if you explained the VIP option and made it more accessible to obtain, as in an online option. Also a prompt email receipt/voucher once the product is purchased.

The second hotel was terrible. It was in the middle of nowhere, room was very uncomfortable. The hotel had no atmosphere the other 2 hotels were nice but you definitely had to have a car.

Trip Booked: Ireland 3-City Dublin, Cork, Galway (7 days) We had a wonderful trip however, we lost 2 days due to the weather in Ireland. (First blizzard since 1982) We were extremely shocked that we weren't permitted to have an extra day tacked on to end of our trip, even offered to pay for it and was denied. The first person we spoke to when our flight was cancelled was extremely rude. I wish I had gotten her name. She basically did everything she could to get us off the phone and out of her hair. The only reason the rating isn't lower is because of the second person we spoke to who found us a flight out of Miami the following day and who contacted the car rental company in Ireland, and went above and beyond to make sure the remainder of our trip was memorable. Once in Ireland, the hotels were clean, and well kept, the car rental was nice, and the experiences were memorable. We've fallen in love with the country and can't wait to go back. We feel cheated since we paid for a 7 day trip and only got a 5 day trip and had to cut out a lot of the site seeing we had planned because we just couldn't make it work. Feeling rushed was our overall sentiment, but we would book through Aer Lingus Vacation Store again, the weather is not something they could control.
