This company is not fixing my refrigerator because no repair men don't want to work with them because they don't want to pay them. Now I'm stuck with a 2 months handicap and have to get someone to buy me food. They need to close this business fake fake fake

Absolute Scam
Absolute scam. After purchasing a home with AFC 1 yr coverage included, my water heater died and they sent a tech out for $75. Instead of covering the cost of the water heater, they offered $100 due to the age of the unit - stating this was simply a kind gesture. Months later after realizing I never received this check, I called back and they explained that they never received proof that the unit was replaced. The previous agent never stated that this was required - simply asked if I would like to connect my bank account for deposit or prefer a physical check.
Overall, they use their tightly knit by a sleezy lawyer T&C's to rarely pay warranty claims out. Sellers, buyers, and realtors beware - this is a complete waste of money.

The company does not honor its contractual obligations
I recently purchased a new home and, at the time of purchase, I also purchased a one-year home warranty from AFC Home Warranty.
Approximately one and a half months after purchasing the home, my washing machine began making a loud and unusual noise during the final cycle. Since the appliances in my home were covered under the warranty, I contacted AFC Home Warranty to request a repair.
AFC Home Warranty sent a technician to inspect and diagnose the washing machine, for which I was required to pay a separate $75 service fee. After inspecting the machine, the technician determined that the tub needed to be replaced. However, the underlying problem appears to be the bearings, which can be replaced without necessarily replacing the entire tub.
What is particularly frustrating is that my warranty contract clearly states, under the washing machine coverage: “COVERED: All components and parts.”
Despite this language, AFC Home Warranty refused to cover the repair, stating that they do not replace tubs. I find this explanation extremely disappointing because the contract clearly states that all components and parts of the washing machine are covered. The failed bearings are the underlying cause of the machine's malfunction, yet the company has refused to provide a covered repair.
I purchased this warranty expecting the company to honor its contractual obligations when a covered appliance failed. Instead, I paid for the warranty, paid an additional $75 service fee for the technician, and was still left without a covered repair.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from this company. They are willing to take your money for a warranty, but when you actually need a repair, they may find a reason to deny coverage. I am extremely disappointed with AFC Home Warranty and would not recommend this company to others.

Coming from a contractors view
Coming from a contractors view, this company likes to authorize work for contractors to complete and then never pay the contractors. Skilled tradesman, stay away from these guys.

Avoid This Home Warranty Company
If I could, I would leave a zero review. I have been a customer for a couple of years paying monthly premiums religiously. We have filed two claims, one for an oven repair and the second for an air conditioner fan motor. For both claims, we were advised that they would not cover repairs, but would pay very small replacement values for each, 300.00 for an 1800.00 oven and 300.00 for a 20,000 Trane unit. They are horrible and they take several months to send you a check for the minuscule money they do agree to pay. Avoid them at all costs as you will be paying for your own repairs.
