I would like to recommend a learning website to everyone: Afficient😊. My daughter has been studying here for a long time. Its advantages can summarize knowledge, improve learning efficiency, and help her find the cause of mistakes and study in depth. The online teacher also explains very attentively. Thank you I think whether it is a self-motivated child or a child who needs to find out the gaps, they can gain confidence here.

Hello Trac! Thank you very much for the 5-star review! We truly appreciate it. In our AI-driven programs, students can find the gaps, self-learn the materials, build a strong foundation, and go on to learn advanced materials and gain confidence. Best wishes!

I think Afficient is a decent platform and that i have learned a lot from it, but a lot of times i have to dig into the internet to find out how to do a problem because the help button doesn't help. For the same type of problem, it would give different processes and doesn't explain how it got to the answer that well. Almost like seeing a whale is fat and then suddenly you say it has parasites. They don't directly connect, which makes it difficult

Hello Lucas! Thanks for your review. We would like to learn the issues you are facing with the 'Help' button in detail. Could you give us a few examples of exact skills or lessons with screenshots, if possible? We will analyze and make the necessary changes. You may send emails to our support team, or discuss it with your Account Manager or with your instructor in your online sessions. Thanks and best wishes!

i was doing afficient math and it seems that they don't explain stuff clearly enough. Plus once i got an answer wrong, i dropped from a percent of 289 to 112.

Hello guaiguainiuniu! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We really appreciate your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the explanations didn’t feel clear enough and that the score drop was frustrating. We understand how discouraging it can be to see a large percentage change after getting an answer wrong. The scoring system is designed to reflect mastery and accuracy. When a question feels unclear, we encourage you to use the Help button and Assisted Exercises, which provide step-by-step explanations. If things are still confusing, our instructors are available to help clarify concepts through online support or in-person sessions at our learning centers. Your feedback is important to us, and it helps us continue improving how we explain concepts and communicate progress.

I see that all of the one star reviews are by students.... I do afficient math. It can be challenging at times, and the demos can be hard to understand, but that's why there's these nice tutors! If I'm struggling a lot, then I just hop into a zoom meeting. I don't think anyone that gave one star actually uses the zoom meetings. You're not just paying $150 a month for the website, but you're also paying for the tutors. Math class at school is so much easier, and I can learn the material in advance! Would recommend! I really love math!

We started on Afficient just before the pandemic lockdown. My son was starting 6th grade but tested at 2nd grade level in English (which we expected) and 4th grade in math. Afficient got him caught up in both subjects; he's now in high school and still doing Afficient, ahead of his grade level in math and just a bit behind in English (reading comprehension and vocabulary have always been difficult for him). There are occasional errors and glitches, which are annoying. I have reported errors in the English lessons, which get acknowledged but not fixed as far as we can tell. I have found punctuation errors, grammar errors, definition errors, and mismatched answers. The math questions have a button for reporting an error, which is useful. The English questions don't; you have to send an email. For a student to get the most out of Afficient, it is helpful to attend the live tutoring sessions, You aren't just paying for the software, you're paying for a live instructor too. I suspect many of the negative reviews here don't account for that.

Thank you so much for a 4-star review. We are so glad that your child could catch up to grade level and has advanced beyond the grade level. That's an amazing achievement!

Whenever i get a question right at the last 1 percent of the afficiency of algebra 2, it barleys give me a point. Just 0.01. While getting all 6 correct gives me only like 0.04. Where an single incorrect drops me 0.15 percent. And even if I get the rest correct, it still drops me 0.1. And some questions mark me wrong right off the bat when I just started it. And my mom pesters me to get the full and max score where it is not even helping me, and you said it had ai to help you.

Hi Isaac! We understand your frustration. The deduction of points in the Afficiency session is to help you be careful when submitting your answers. This further helps you in improving your accuracy. Best wishes.
