Process was easy to list. Even though my buyer came from another source.

Thanks. It means a lot to us. We matched your TrustPilot email to one you signed up with. You've got a free boost added your account. That's on the house. The next time you post on AGT, apply that boost - and you should have a lot more exposure and offers to choose from.

I appreciate being able to list a firearm and have it available on line to most of America. Only problem is not all of the items listed in my ad are included. I will use this service again and make sure to donate for its continued purpose and operation.

Appreciate you sharing this. Fast approvals are something we work hard on because we know timing matters when you’re selling. Glad the process has been smooth for you. If you ever run into delays or have ideas on how we can make it even better, we’re all ears.

I know the owner and he's a working machine with lazer focus directed on service to his clients in all his business ventures. He understands that a successful business is built on reliable service to ensure return business from clients. He has proven to me personally multiple times over through his actions that he values honor and integrity.

I personally know the owner of American Gun Trader. He's been working on this project for years and it has been a serious passion of his. He's being going the extra mile to make sure this website has the firearm enthusiast in mind; respecting privacy, ensuring legitimate listings, and avoiding scams. He's taken his time to get this website up and I've talked to him about how hard it is to ensure a secure site for legitimate firearms transactions while protecting the privacy of users. Every listing is manually reviewed to ensure its authenticity. I know other sites have had issues with transactions, refunds, etc. are processed then reviewed. There's not another platform that is using all tools available to make sure users of it are protected from malicious people and organizations.

Thank you for the kind words and for recognizing the work that goes into building this platform the right way. From day one, American Gun Trader has been built with a clear priority: protecting lawful firearm owners while creating a trustworthy marketplace. That means taking the slower, harder path—manual listing reviews, strict legitimacy checks, and systems designed to reduce fraud without compromising user privacy. Running a secure firearms marketplace in the U.S. is not simple, and we intentionally chose diligence over shortcuts. Every safeguard in place exists to protect buyers, sellers, and the broader firearms community from bad actors. We appreciate your support and your understanding of the challenges involved. Feedback like this reinforces why we continue to invest heavily in security, compliance, and user trust.

I know the people behind American Gun Trader and can confidently say this is not a scam. Listings are manually reviewed and approved, contact info is redacted, off-platform communication is blocked, and there are clear safeguards in place to prevent fraud. The platform is clearly built with security and compliance in mind, which matters a lot in this space. New marketplaces always get extra scrutiny compared to long-established names, but from what I’ve seen, American Gun Trader is operating legitimately and taking the right steps to protect users. If you’re concerned about scams, this is a legit site that’s actively doing things the right way.

Thank you for taking the time to share this perspective. Trust and legitimacy are critical in the firearms space, and we’ve intentionally built American Gun Trader around those principles from day one. Manual listing reviews, restricted off-platform communication, redacted contact details, and layered safeguards are all deliberate design choices to reduce fraud and protect users. We understand that new marketplaces are often scrutinized more heavily than legacy platforms. That scrutiny is warranted in this industry, and we welcome it. Our focus remains on operating compliantly, transparently, and with the long-term health of the firearms community in mind. We appreciate your support and your recognition of the steps we’re taking to do this the right way.

This is a legitimate company, not a scam. I personally know the owner and can confidently say they run a solid, trustworthy business. Their parent company, Shadow Software, is based in Florida. Highly recommend! 10/10
