Wonderful songwriter retreat full of valuable and honest critique, community building, inspiration, and business process considerations. Excellent design and leadership with ample opportunities to keep the connections after the event.

This retreat truly changed my life. I’ve been trying to do music independently for 5 years now, and always felt I were stuck. When I stumbled upon the instagram ad, I immediately applied. And I’m so happy I did, because not only do I have new techniques to write, but also some life long friends to come with it! Thank you so much for giving us the experience to express ourselves, and to show us how fun songwriting is!!

My most important takeaway is that I learned about myself. How well I work with others, how well I don't work with others, who I am as a writer, what strengths to lean on, what weaknesses to further hone, there's so much value in the retreat if I didn't document my experience I would've lost it all. It unfortunately all moves fast, but in a good way. You will get what you need by attending the retreat.

Need a boost? Attending this retreat ended up being one of the best things I've done for myself. I can't pin that on one thing specifically but I think it was a combination of the subject matter, the teaching, the self reflection, the music and the energy created by so many talented people in the room. If you are into songwriting I urge you to attend one of Andrea's retreats. She is a thoughtful talented teacher who obviously loves what she does. Although I don't have a lot of experience doing similar things I talked to numerous other participants who had and they unanimously agreed Andreas's retreat was the best they had attended.

I am so grateful for Andrea and this retreat. It is not very often that we get to experience such a great community, full of incredibly talented and motivated artists that inspire us to do the same. Thank you, Andrea and all of the Nashville 2023 retreat members I now get to call friends!

Great intense retreat full of practical tools and immediate application of those tools! Andrea is a gifted teacher who bridges both the lyric and music sides of songwriting!

This was a wonderful experience like nothing else I’ve experienced on my music journey. Instructional periods loaded me with new tools. Seeing creatives in action was so motivating. Having the safe space to expose soft underbelly made for great lyrics. I left with greater understanding of composition with commercial appeal. Networking with highly talented people was amazing. I had an absolute blast taking part in this retreat and walked away with skills that reinforce my abilities as a songwriter and as a performer.

Andrea's Songwriting Retreat was an incredible experience. It took me out of my comfort zone and gave me some great tools and connections to better my songwriting skills. I would recommend her retreat to anyone who is a serious songwriter looking to grow in their knowledge or career.
