Ants on a Melon is awesome! They make wonderful products and have good warranties. Their customer service team is quick to respond and super duper kind.

Amazing customer service, quick replies answered every question as I needed, would recommend to anyone.

The customer service representative reached out within 24 hours with multiple possible solutions, with visual aides, to the issue I was experiencing. The representative understood the urgency in correcting the issue due to me having a photo shoot just a couple of days away. Fortunately, the solutions the representative suggested worked on the first try and I was able to continue using the RGB Critter as desired. I would highly recommend their products, as well as their customer service.

The critters are the best RGB lights out there for light painters. The analog pwm feature makes beautiful dotless patterns that I haven't seen any other RGB light do as well. Having multiple lights sync together works a treat for having one light trigger multiple others. That's an indispensable feature if you have spinning lights that are not easily accessible and when using a mobile would emit light that could ruin a light painting photo.

My whips maiden voyage was during burning man on my birthday. I can’t rave enough about how incredible this whip is. I got the RGB Critter with 200 fibers; it really feels like the Goldilocks zone of whips. Not too thick and definitely not thin, gives an amazing light show, and still manageable to clean. My whip got absolutely COVERED in dust each day I played with it at burning man, and it was still easy enough to detangle and clean with wet wipes everyday. When I got home I only had to trim two of the fiber tips that got a little damaged (I don’t even want to say damaged. It’s just normal wear and tear from a week in a harsh environment). The fibers did get a little sparkly, but again, it’s an harsh environment. Another thing I noticed was none of the fibers came out on their own. The app is wonderful. It’s not perfect, and maybe I’m just an idealist but I think there could be improvements, especially on the DIY patterns page. But I am still very pleased with how fun and creative you can get with the lights. It offers a full RBG spectrum of colors, basically an unlimited range. As well as different patterns to choose from. There’s also preset patterns and it’s fun to choose your favorites and add them to playlists. After getting home, I asked support how to really properly clean my whip. They were quick to respond and gave me thorough instructions. They were quick with my follow up questions as well. I don’t know any company that offers such quick, thorough, friendly support like AOAM. I’ve been very pleased. I don’t have much experience with other high end whips, but I can’t see myself changing to anything else. I think I’m AOAMFL (Ants On A Melon For Life). Thanks, AOAM! Best product and support ever!
