About Apollo Neuro
Apollo Neuroscience is pioneering a new category of wearable technology that actively improves health, using touch therapy to promote stress resilience, sleep, focus, recovery, and more. We believe that the human body is powerful, resilient, and has the capacity to heal. When we can tap into our ability to balance and calm the nervous system, we can take better control over our mental and physical health. Feeling well doesn’t have to be a struggle. We built the Apollo Neuro technology because current health tools often don’t cut it. Meditation, mindfulness, and breathwork may help, but are often not enough on their own. And they’re really hard to learn and and even harder to work into your daily routines, especially when you’re already busy and feeling stressed. The Apollo wearable puts you back in the driver’s seat.Unlike other wearables, this is not a biometric tracking device. Apollo is a therapeutic wearable, designed to be worn discreetly on the wrist, ankle, or anywhere by clipping it to your clothing, that works by sending gentle vibrations to the body that signal safety to the brain. It's a safe, non-invasive way to relax, get the sleep you need, focus your attention, and find your flow. Using the Apollo wearable consistently over time helps to retrain your nervous system, helping you recover from stress and feel better overall.
Apollo Neuro (apolloneuro.com) has 227 customer reviews on Folks Told, with an average rating of 3.4 out of 5.
I wouldn’t waste a dime on this “wearable “. It super glitchy. It doesn’t stay charged long enough, disconnects and it’s setting do not work the way this company says they do. It 100% not worth $400. I don’t think it even helps with anything. I have been using it over a month and it eventually “tracks you sleep “ when it actually works. I cannot say it has made any difference in my life or sleep. Not to mention i believe nits so glitchy you cannot trust any of its data. Total waste of money. Regret buying it.

Activation Code Hassle
Activation Code Hassle
The device came with a $100 discount good for a 1 year subscription to the associated premium service. I never received an activation code for the subscription that was supposed to come by email. I was very careful to watch for it, checked junk folder, etc. Opened a ticket 2 weeks ago. Got an auto response but no resolution. Tried online chat - once AI could not resolve, chat failed to hand over to a rep. Cursor blinking for 30 minutes. No update. AI advised that response time for tickets is .... 45 DAYS?! That's insane for a device this expensive. Return policy is pretty useless. My wife likes the device okay hence the 2 stars instead of 1 but the support is awful. Remains to be seen whether I will ever receive the promised subscription.

Customer service is predatory
Well, the tech is probably fine. I spent the $450 for the subscription, and unit. Came after longer than I wanted (upgraded shipping was a LOT more). Mind you it’s the size of a toothpaste (or smaller) package.
As soon as I opened it, the unit was gross, visibly used, covered in smudges and dandruff? Or dead skin? I request a return, long story short it took the ENTIRE DAY. They won’t even replace the unit until they get the old one back - but this is the best part. They assured me, via phone, MULTIPLE TIMES, they would expedite and ship a unit as soon as I dropped it off at USPS.
I dropped it off within an hour of getting the label, customer support ghosted me, then proceeded to ignore my phone calls (I have a transcript that emailed to me showing the abandoned the customer service call, even tho I requested a callback), then tried to pull me back in at the last minute by the time I lost all faith. Also, their phone line barely works.
After some deliberation and confusion, I said NOPE, I’m done. Do NOT buy from Apollo direct. Amazon, or anywhere literally else. Save your sanity, you will not regret it. No idea how the unit works but it is promising and has way better reviews on Amazon!
EDIT:
I was told I would receive a refund once the package was scanned in, it was delivered today, 6/11 at 9 AM. I tried contacting them this evening (before the posted 7 PM time) but they shut off the phone and chat service well before 7 PM. I will be chasing them down again since I do not believe they will refund it unless I keep track of it myself. An absolute shame.

Apollo charger issues
A couple of months ago, during normal charging, both the charger and plug overheated and melted. This created a clear fire hazard and posed a significant risk to personal safety and property. I wanted to report it via the online form on their website, but despite several attempts it did not provide a submit form button hence this appears to be the most direct way for me to report it.

Serena, we apologize for our delayed response — thank you for reporting this, and we're sorry the web form didn't work. We take any report of overheating seriously. Please email [email protected] with "Safety concern" in the subject line so the right team can follow up. — The Apollo Neuro Team

Poor Bluetooth experience, low battery capacity
The device does not stay connected. I have a Samsung fold. I wear it all night as directed and it either says the battery died, which it did not or registers 1.5 hours of sleep. Again, both incorrect. For the few times it does work, I do feel like I sleep better. Although inconvenient, the Pulsetto seems to work better.

For a device that asks “Do you have a chronic medical condition for which you use this device?” during device setup, this is NOT friendly to those people.
TL;DR: Apollo touts its wearable as a solution to chronic stress, but latest update has caused pain and sleep disruption
I'm writing this review on my mother's behalf - she's unwilling to "cause a fuss," but I'm deeply disturbed by the company's lack of willingness to provide prompt and transparent assistance to a customer.
My mother has been an Apollo wearable wearer for years, and has said for most of that time that she has experienced an increase in restful, restorative sleep as a result of the Apollo. She has several chronic conditions, including chronic fatigue and chronic migraines, so this is a pretty big deal. She wears the Apollo unit to bed as well as during the day.
Last week, Apollo's app automatically updated, as it often does, and she didn't think anything of it. Around that same time, she started experiencing daily migraines, despite not changing anything about her diet, environment, medication, or lifestyle. A week later, she realized that her app had been automatically, triggering the "Social" vibration sequence during her sleep – a sequence she has NEVER set the app to trigger, as she realized early on in her Apollo journey that this sequence causes migraines.
Upon realizing this, she immediately chatted with customer service. They were not helpful and instead treated her as though she did not know how her device worked. To be clear, she does. The issue is that, after the update, her wearable keeps playing a different vibration that she did not set up, did not request, and that actively triggers migraines.
After that fruitless conversation, she reached out to Apollo via phone twice. Both times, she was met with rudeness and no answers. The second time, the customer service representative told my mother – after my mother reminded her three times that this call was being recorded so she should probably treat customers with kindness or at least basic human decency – that they would escalate her experience to the product dev team but if they can’t do anything, there’s “nothing else they can do.”
For a device that asks “Do you have a chronic medical condition for which you use this device?” during device setup, this is NOT friendly to those people. My mother has stopped using her device and her migraines have stopped literally overnight. I am incredibly disappointed in Apollo for their lax customer service, inability to resolve technical issues with clarity and concision, and carelessness with app updates.

Buyer Beware!
The Neuro won't charge and timers won't go off as set. I can't even tell you if it works because I can't even charge it
Customer service starts off friendly and helpful then they just go silent.
I've asked for a RMA 3 times now through customer support email and again, silence. I think they are waiting for the 30 days to pass!
Update(2/19/2026): I finally received a full refund from a helpful customer service rep.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that this has been your experience. I understand why that would feel unfair.
Our refund window is typically calculated from the original delivery date, as outlined in our return policy. That said, when a device is confirmed defective and a replacement is issued, we absolutely want to make sure the overall experience is handled reasonably and in good faith.
It’s never our intention for a customer to feel penalized for receiving a faulty unit. Situations like this are reviewed case by case, especially when there are delays involved in receiving a working replacement.
If you’re open to it, please share your order number or most recent support ticket so we can take another look at the full timeline and ensure everything was evaluated properly. We’d like the opportunity to review this thoroughly and make sure the right decision was made.
Warm regards,
Customer Support Team

Just placebo
My friend and I have been using it for about 2.5 years. It is nothing more than a placebo effect. Many times I even forget to wear it and don't feel or think I am missing something, so I am just using it because I paid for it lol.
Also, the company is milking it to the highest extent. For example, they sell Smart Vibes for $99 a year, and this is nothing more than just a random change of vibration frequency.
