ROBIN D.
What started as an initial investment…
What started as an initial investment of $5000 is now currently at nearly $14,000. Very few contractaual obligations have been met and what has been done has been book releases with nearly 100 errors. They would tell me one thing and then either follow through with work that was incorrect or not done at all. They lied and told me that Netflix, Hulu, and screenwriters were fighting for the rights to my book luring me to pay $2500 for the World Book Fair in Germany. Then the same message for a cinematic book trailer to accompany my book to this book fair for $1600. Then they ghosted me after getting the last of the $14,000 until I complained to the BBB. Then they reconnected so I would remove my complaint. It took 3 tries to get the book trailer done because no person in their business ever read the book. I was then told the book trailer would not go with my book to World Book Fair with my book so I paid $1600 for a video for social media which was poorly done. Of course, the representative who corresponded about Hulu, Netflix, and screenwriters never out anything in writing but i have her name, dates, and times she called me and told me this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BOOK to fail. I have great reviews online but sales are low due to using this company. UPDATE: Their response is full of lies. Bella Page called me in March and April telling me that Hulu, Netflix, and screenwriters wanted the rights to my book to get $4100 out of me for the Frankfurt World Book Fair and a book trailer to accompany my book to Germany. She never put it in writing, but I can give dates and times of these 2 conversations. Just recently I was told my book trailer would not be going to Germany so I paid $1600 for a weak trailer to post on social media. In addition, after Bella’s March call to me, the entire staff ghosted me until I posted a poor review on BBB.org. All that they do is LIE! I have now, over 175 pages of evidence that proves everything I have written here and more. I have documentation of everything and I have total the absolute TRUTH about everything. I don’t appreciate their response disputing my evidence. Congrats to all who received great service. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t allow a zero. You are welcome to contact me, if you don’t believe me. I was taken for $14,000 and I’d be curious to know how much the 5 star reviewers paid for their services. Everyone should be aware of my truth and they should be exposed for what they did for me. I saved everything and even documented phone calls for the reps who were smart enough not to put their lies into an email.

Hi Robin, We’re sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We recognize the investment you’ve made in your book and want to ensure everything is clearly addressed. Regarding the editing, there was an initial misunderstanding on our end. Once we became aware of your concerns, we immediately worked to make the necessary corrections. You also confirmed after receiving the physical copy that everything was good and that you were satisfied with the final result. Your book trailer was revised through our production review process based on your feedback and received your final approval. We would also like to clarify that the use or inclusion of the book trailer as part of the book fair participation was not stated as a deliverable in either of the agreements you signed. Therefore, the book trailer was not processed or contracted as a specific book fair deliverable. After reviewing our records, we found no promise or guarantee from our team regarding Netflix, Hulu, competing film offers, or placement of your book on these platforms. If you have specific communications that indicate otherwise, please share them with us so we can review them carefully. We would also like to clarify that the translation-rights authorization for the Frankfurt Book Fair allows us to present your book to literary agents for potential translation opportunities. It does not constitute a film offer or guarantee a rights agreement. Finally, from the beginning of our conversations, we have not promised or guaranteed a specific number of book sales or revenue. While we remain committed to delivering the services outlined in your agreements and providing updates on our activities, sales results ultimately cannot be guaranteed. We value your concerns and want to ensure that the services and commitments are accurately represented based on the agreements you signed and our communications with you. We remain available to review any outstanding concerns and address them directly.
