JOHN MARKS/Auto Haul LLC strikes again
JOHN MARKS strikes again. Quoted me $350 for next day delivery. Delivery day came and went with no communication from JOHN MARKS, no pickup, and no delivery. Auto Haul LLC wants to keep $50 of the $150 deposit. Here's the text exchange: JOHN MARKS: when do you wanna ship it? ME: I'd like to ship it tomorrow. JOHN MARKS: okay no problem we can do it ME: When would it arrive at [my zip code]? JOHN MARKS: Lemme check real quick It takes a day. Works? ME: When would the truck get here? JOHN MARKS: Tomorrow around 3 or 4 pm When he failed to deliver the truck, he told me that the driver he had checked with wasn't insured, and had bad records. He then said he had drivers for $750 or $550. Judging by other reviews, JOHN MARKS/Auto Haul LLC often quotes low to secure the contract, then quotes a much higher price to actually deliver the vehicle. This is at least bait and switch, if not outright fraud. I cancelled, drove over with a friend and got the truck myself.
