Avaaz is a global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere. Avaaz—meaning "voice" in several European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages—launched in 2007 with a simple democratic mission: organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want. The Avaaz community campaigns in 17 languages, served by a core team on 6 continents and thousands of volunteers. We take action -- signing petitions, funding media campaigns and direct actions, emailing, calling and lobbying governments, and organizing "offline" protests and events -- to ensure that the views and values of the world's people inform the decisions that affect us all.Any questions or concerns please message us on our contact us form: https://avaazhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Avaaz is doing absolutely critical work worldwide to improve the lot of humans and the planet, across political, economic, environmental and social fronts. I don't think there's an organization that equals its progressive scope, passion and efficacy. Thank you for all you do, amazing Avaaz team!

Avaaz is a global force providing truthful information on the real story behind the headlines, with an important emphasis on transparency and advocacy positions, shifting the narrative from just discussion to positive action to important results. Highly recommended!

This is one of the only organizations that i know of that successfully make global change at a political level that affect and hugely benefit people & the environment. Any funds you send to them are guaranteed to make it to their destination and help on the ground. The CEO is a picture of ethics and integrity working towards positive change
