Hi Jordan,
We completely understand how frustrating it can be to have your payment withdrawn earlier than scheduled. It's frustrating for us too, especially when we have systems and processes in place to prevent this very thing from happening.
Payments begin processing at 2 pm CST on the business day prior to your scheduled withdrawal date. This is when we send your bank the instructions for the withdrawal, which specify the exact date that the funds should be pulled from your account, based on the withdrawal date you selected.
Unfortunately, banks don’t always follow these instructions as closely as we’d like, and we don’t have visibility into why this happens. We can only assume it's the result of an internal process on the bank's end. When a payment is scheduled late in the week, the bank may initiate an early withdrawal to avoid potential delays. Ultimately, this decision is made by the bank, not Avail.
All banks have their own processes and policies in place, so if you're finding that withdrawals are regularly occurring before your scheduled withdrawal date, our best advice is to reach back out to your bank for further clarification. If the representative you speak with isn't well-versed
in their processes, we recommend asking to speak with a supervisor who can go into greater detail.
We hope this helps to clarify, but please don't hesitate to reach back out if we can be of any further assistance with this or anything else.
Thank you for using Avail!
