Recent changes to the platform took away a key function that counted fields as a dashboard. We complained and were told it was the IT department that made the decision without for warning vendors making the platform less user friendly. Bamboo Hr does not seem to care about vendor needs, only filling their pockets.

BambooHR has been an amazing addition to our non-profit organization! The platform is user-friendly for the employer and employee. As an HR professional, I can complete onboarding, run reports and set up time off policies within a few short minutes. Our employees also love BambooHR because viewing/requesting time-off is simple! The investment is well worth it!

Great tutorials all around and if I still have questions, customer service is right there to help. The turnaround time on responses or call backs is great. Always consistent and have not ever felt like a question was left unanswered.

Sales lied about integration with our payroll company, ADP. I brought up irregularities multiple times and was dismissed. After 2 months of wasting time trying to implement, we cancelled before going live because they could not deliver what they promised. Despite not actually using the software, Amanda Persaud Ford, refused to give a refund. This is a company culture based on sales through deception.

I like that I can clock in virtually and document my time working. I also like that I can see birthdays, time-off, and anniversaries of my co-workers. I wish it was easier to edit my clock outs. Sometimes, I forget to clock in and I have to make sure I tell my boss and she only has the window of some day if not it has to be a contract. That seems like a lot of red tape for forgetting to clock back in.

Bamboo has been a great addition to our company. The tracking of Time Off Requests was a monumental change for us. Implementing employee profiles so that they can submit their own changes has been good. If i had a complaint it's with our Check Requests and Bonus Submissions. Because we require multi-level approvals which is great - it does cause issues when one of the approvers is on Vacation and not working while on Vacation. So the departments that need to see the requests have no accesss and can't add the funds to people paychecks that rely on these weekly submissions as part of their pay, with no delays because of management. It would be beneficial if the last person on the approver list could at least SEE the request information being made, then bring that information to dept head to override the manager on vacation and deny/approve. It would save Payroll Dept tons of time of having to cut out of cycle checks due to employees being on vacation. When you have 200+ employees every pay period, timing is everything and can't wait until the last minute for decisions by approver list.
