I purchased a fireable from BBQ Grills earlier this year. I had it professionally installed but it never worked properly. I spoke to the owner of the company Ryan Maltbie and he suggested buying a new conversion kit. My contractor bought exactly what model was suggested and still the flame is about an inch high. Becky in customer service was horrible and would never return my emails. I now have a fire table with no fire! Both Ryan and Becky do not respond. Absolutely the worst service ever. Horrible product and service. I have been trying for months to resolve this but they do not get back to me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will sell you something that will not work then encore you.

awful communication, paid over 4k for a fire pit that they never sent , 6 months later spent months , almost 20 phone calls trying to figure it out. Nobody from mgmt ever called, emailed or even acknowledged that I had a problem . could only talk to 3 people answering phone who have no idea what's going on . do not pay up front for anything!!!!

Let me advise everybody to stay far away from this company. They are a scam company. I ordered a barbecue on November 4. Told the same thing it was on backorder same exact thing and I wouldn’t get it for 21 days. I called and I have a recorded line that’s told them to cancel it. I even have it on an email. They told me they would cancel it and refund my money and they did not. They stole the money I’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau of the FCC and consumer protection in their area and filed a full report. People file a chargeback if you don’t get something you pay for and they’ve taken your money it’s called stealing there are laws for that. They cannot do it. They have to issue the refund if they don’t you contact your credit card company as I did an issue a chargeback immediately which my bank did right away I sent a copy of the email I sent a copy of the order form and I sent them a copy of the recorded conversation. That’s the same thing you have to do. Companies are trying to walk all over people and steal the money it seems like from all these reviews. They never mail anything out and just try to take your money.

Absolute garbage "Company" BBQGrills.com is a scam. Will ship in 5-7 days, nothing happens. Asked to cancel and return and promised by [email protected]... that my return will process in 7-10 days which has long passed. I've reported to CC company, FBI IC3. It appears the domain is registered or hosted out of the UK so good luck.

I wish I could say the experience matched the sales pitch — but it didn’t. Not even close. Our order for a Prism Hardscapes Tavola 8 fire pit was placed only because the sales rep, Adam, assured us repeatedly that production confirmed a 2–3 week turnaround, with a ship date right around October 30th. The standard lead time was 5–7 weeks, so this accelerated timeline was the deciding factor. What happened next was unacceptable. After the order was placed, the promised timeline fell apart immediately. Despite multiple attempts to get updates, we were forced to chase the company for even the most basic information. On November 1st, the CEO himself stepped in and claimed the unit was now on a “1–2 week” production lead time and was “pretty positive” it would ship the week of November 3rd. That turned out to be just another empty assurance. As of November 15th, the unit has still not shipped. No tracking, no updates, no honest communication — nothing. Every timeline they’ve given has been wrong. Every commitment has been broken. And every follow-up email has been ignored or met with vague, non-answers that lead nowhere. At this point, the experience feels more like a runaround than a legitimate fulfillment process. The contrast between the fast, smooth sales process and the complete collapse of fulfillment is alarming. Bottom line: The sales team will tell you exactly what you want to hear. Fulfillment will deliver the opposite. Unless you have an extremely flexible timeline and zero expectation that the company will honor its own promises, avoid ordering from this company. The delays and lack of communication have caused major setbacks on our project, and we would not purchase from them again.

Stay away from this company!!! Ordered an item that showed as "in stock" mid October and received confirmation that it would soon ship. After a couple weeks I tried to follow up on their website only to realize that there was no working link to their tracking page though the sales site worked just fine. I sent several emails that went un answered and the customer service line put me on hold forever. the messages to that line went un answered as well. Amazingly, the sales line gets picked up every time you call. I was told in writing that my order was now on backorder and there was no fulfilment in sight so I cancelled and asked for a refund. I was told the refund would be processed in the next 5-7 business days. 2 more weeks went by without any notice of refund. After several more attempts to contact them, I finally got in touch and was told that they would be in touch with their "accounting division" and would ensure that the refund would be procced promptly. It wasn't.... During our final conversation, they stated that the accounting department was "really backed up" and that they would be in touch with me within 24 hours. That never happened either. I left a final un answered email letting them know that unless they responded by end of week, I would pursue the refund with the credit card company and this is what I've done. This company is nothing but a scam.

On 09/28/2025 I saw the Oklahoma Joe's 17-Inch Rambler Tabletop Charcoal Grill on this website, "In-Stock & Ready to Ship" (see photo). I ordered it, received several emails confirming the purchase, welcoming me to the "BBQGrills.com family," and again indicating the BBQ was in-stock and ready to ship. After 10 days without receiving any shipping notification, I called and was told they were “running behind," and that the BBQ would be shipped soon. I waited 29 days until 10/27/2025 before I emailed them to cancel my order and requested a refund. Then I had to email two more times (Nov 3rd & Nov 5th) before they confirmed, "...the item being unavailable..," and a credit being issued on 11/05/2025 (see photo). The credit appeared on my credit card two days later (Nov 7th). This was an unpleasant 40 day experience. On the day I cancelled this order (Oct 27th), I ordered the same BBQ from HomeDepot for $149.99, and it was delivered the next day for $40 less. I will not do business with BBQGrills.com again.

Order a Blackstone grill end of September, and still havent gotten the grill. Originally they said it was backordered (despite website saying in stock), after weeks of emailing to get answers, i asked to cancel and get refund. They said they would refund and to wait 5 to 7 days for refund. Still haven't received refund and every email i send (including 2 to CEO) no response. They customer service is horrible, even when you pay an extra $100 for premium support. They don't care about the customer and keep your money. If you look at all the responses on this site allegedly from them, it seems like a standard copy and paste response. Don't buy from them.
