Having bought a new iPhone 18 at the Apple Store, they took five attempts to fit the Bilkin screen, which kept lifting. The next day it was still lifting, and then appeared a small crack. I tried to put this under warranty and they said it wasn’t under warranty. This screen was £39 and lasted one day very poor response from the online chat line with Belkin

Both USB-C cables stopped working within a year showing not a one off case Ok fine, whatever. Contacted customer service. Holding for over 20 mins before speaking to an agent who constantly requested more evidence. Each time they put me on hold for 5 minutes while they did God knows what else. Almost everything I sent was then rejected by their anti virus program. Asked for further photos of items after had already provided. Over an hour into the call I told them I couldn't be bothered with this if they were just going to make me jump through more hoops and they said "OK then, bye!" Beyond a joke.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. I bought a new phone iPhone 18 pro max on Friday. I purchased a Belkin protector ($42.95) along with it at the Apple Store and the store installed it. Tonight, four days later, I see a full crack all along the front of the screen. It is from one side to the other and two chips on either side. My phone fell off the Journey charger on to my mattress and carpet; then I noticed it. I contacted Belkin trying to get a quick replacement to safeguard my phone as I'm traveling to Europe and want to ensure it's all safe! I attached my receipt from just days ago! This has to have been a defect as I've never had a protector last four days. The problem is w/ the customer service. I had to go back and forth on a chat for nearly 40 minutes convincing them to send me one without the $9.99 plus tax shipping. They're trying to tell me 'that it's normal wear and tear and not covered'. Absolutely the worst. I started asking for a supervisor and after asking at least DON"T charge the shipping, they finally agreed to send one. Of course, it will come in way too late for my trip so hopefully, my phone is safeguarded in the meantime. I never intend to buy a product from them in the future. Ridiculous. Fully explains their 1.2 rating overall!

Don’t buy the Belkin screen protectors, you are better off going to five below. We paid $40 for the Belkin screen protectors from the apple store and sold on the idea that they are durable and have a lifetime warranty. Within 2 months the protectors cracked on their own and I had to do the warranty. Then after 4 more months they cracked again. This time they wanted to charge me $10 shipping for both protectors (me and my wife phone) I can go get two protectors for $5 on Amazon or five below. Apple should be ashamed to promote this product and Belkin should be ashamed to offer what is a lie

I would give them ZERO if I could !! They say ''item under warranty'' but force you to pay for a replacement. SUPER POOR customer service ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!

Bought a Belkin iPhone screen protector because it was pushed by the Apple Store with lifetime “hassle free replacements”. The warranty is nothing but a hassle. Worst customer service I’ve received in a long time. Warranty claim takes months. Would never buy a Belkin screen protector again.

Ich habe im offiziellen Belkin Online Store zwei Displayschutzfolien gekauft und bin von der anschließenden Reklamationsabwicklung maßlos enttäuscht. Was ein routinemäßiger, fristgerechter Widerruf mangelhafter Ware hätte sein müssen, entwickelte sich zu einem zeitraubenden und nervenaufreibenden E-Mail-Marathon mit ständig wechselnden Ansprechpartnern. Folgende Punkte haben zu dieser negativen Erfahrung geführt: 1. Falsche Datenprüfung: Obwohl die Bestellung erst wenige Tage alt war und die aktuelle Rechnung vorlag, behauptete der Support zunächst schriftlich, das Produkt sei aus dem Vorjahr und die Rückgabefrist längst abgelaufen. 2. Ignorieren des Widerrufsrechts: Trotz eindeutiger Erklärung des gesetzlichen Widerrufs nach deutschem Recht versuchte man beharrlich, mich mit einem reinen Garantie-Austausch abzuspeisen, und verweigerte anfangs die Rückerstattung. 3. Praxisferne Forderungen: Bei Mängeln an einer Schutzfolie, die technisch bedingt erst nach dem Abziehen der Trägerfolie und dem Auflegen sichtbar werden (verdeckter Mangel), forderte man ernsthaft Fotos des Produkts im unmontierten Zustand vor dem Auspacken an. 4. Portokosten auf Kunden abwälzen: Als die Rücknahme schließlich bestätigt wurde, stellte Belkin lediglich ein unfrankiertes Adressetikett für einen internationalen Rückversand nach Tschechien aus. Es wurde also erwartet, dass ich den Rücktransport zweier bereits benutzter, unbrauchbarer Folienreste auf eigene Kosten trage – entgegen der gesetzlichen Pflicht des Händlers, bei mangelhafter Lieferung die Transportkosten zu übernehmen. Mein Fazit: Ein funktionierender, kundenorientierter Service existiert hier nach meinem Eindruck nicht. Erst nach mehrfacher Zurechtweisung und dem wiederholten Verweis auf Paragrafen des BGB bewegte sich der Support überhaupt. Wer bei Problemen nicht endlose Diskussionen führen möchte, sollte den direkten Einkauf im Belkin Store meiden oder nie Belkin Produkte kaufen.

Im Apple Store Berlin wurde mir beim Kauf der Belkin Folie kostenloser Ersatz bei Beschädigung zugesagt, aber der ERSATZ meiner Displayschutzfolie für ein Apple 17 Pro ist NICHT KOSTENLOS. Mir wurde auch auf Nachfragen im Apple Store Berlin Ku-Damm zugesichert, dass keine Kosten für den Ersatz entstehen und zudem noch der Eindruck erweckt, dass ich einfach mit meiner Rechnungskopie zum Austausch vorbeikommen könnte. Dem ist nun nicht so. Zunächst muss mach sein Produkt umständlich bei Belkin registrieren. Warum wohl, es geht schließlich nur um eine Folie / Cent-Artikel? Apple hat den Kaufbeleg mit allen Daten elektronisch archiviert und auch die Folie aufgeklebt. Nach dem Registrierungsprozess bei Belkin und der Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung persönlicher Daten erfährt man, dass für den Versand unglaubliche 9,99 € berechnet werden. Zum Vergleich sei erwähnt, dass z.B.: Hermes für 3,99 € versendet... Und damit nicht genug. Am Ende des Zahlungsprozesses erwartet einen der nächste Knüller. Dort schreibt Belkin: "Wir akzeptieren derzeit nur Mastercard- und Visa-Kreditkarten. American Express- und andere Kreditkarten werden nicht akzeptiert." Schlicht keine anderen Zahlungsmöglichkeiten möglich, kein Paypal, kein SEPA, keine Überweisung und keine anderen Kreditkarten. Für mich das klare Fazit: Nie wieder Apple iPhones, nie wieder Belkin Produkte.
