I booked a hotel through Billabook (booking no. 1975525). I cancelled my reservation within the free cancellation period. The hotel received the cancellation and confirmed it. However. Billabook has kept the money (US$1,225) and has stopped responding to my emails for the past two months. Thieves or scammers? Avoid at all costs.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Billabook. We booked Canaves Oia Suites through them, but when we arrived at the hotel on 15 August, they had no reservation for us. We were told our booking had instead been made at a completely different sister hotel. We were left at the hotel with all our luggage trying to resolve the situation ourselves and, after being unable to get immediate support, had to pay an additional €770 to stay at the hotel we had actually booked. Billabook later confirmed in writing that this happened because of a mapping error by their supplier and that the wrong property had been booked. We provided all receipts and the hotel folio they requested, showing the additional €770 we had to pay. Despite this, weeks later we are still chasing the refund and have sent numerous follow-up emails asking for the case to be escalated with no reply. The original booking error was bad enough, but the lack of urgency in resolving the financial impact afterwards has made the experience even worse. We should never have been left out of pocket for an error that was not ours, particularly after Billabook acknowledged what went wrong. I wouldn't book through Billabook based on our experience.

Booked a hotel through this website, received the confirmation and when we turned up at the hotel they couldn’t find the reservation , they finally found we had been booked into their sister hotel which we didn’t want to stay in, no one from Billabook reachable to sort - really awful - never using again .

I made a reservation under the name **Ceyda Akdi Gök** for a stay at **Cratos Premium Hotel & Casino** from **24 August to 31 August** and paid the full amount by credit card. Unfortunately, the payment was never transferred to the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel informed us that they had not received any payment. As a result, we were forced to pay the hotel a second time in order to avoid losing our reservation and complete our stay. We contacted the company by email, explained the situation in detail, and requested that the full amount be refunded to our credit card. However, we have received no response whatsoever. This means our original payment has neither reached the hotel nor been refunded to us, which is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious when booking through this company until they improve their payment processing and customer service. If this issue is not resolved immediately and our refund is not processed, we will pursue all available legal remedies. 11.08.2026 UPDATE: Still No Refund and No Response As an update to my previous review, we were forced to pay the hotel for a second time because the payment we originally made through this company was never received by the hotel. We have already sent the company the official invoice issued by the hotel as proof of this second payment. Despite providing all the requested documentation and contacting them repeatedly by email, we are still not receiving any response. Our refund has still not been processed, and we have not been given any clear information about when we will receive our money back. We have fulfilled every request made by the company and provided proof that we paid the hotel again. At this point, the continued lack of communication and failure to refund our payment is completely unacceptable. We expect the full amount to be refunded to our credit card immediately. If this matter continues to remain unresolved, we will proceed with the necessary legal action to protect our rights. I will continue to update this review until the issue is fully resolved.

Booked a rate that was about $40 lower than all other websites. Said it was the full amount. Showed up at property and they said there was a $40 additional fee that Billabook didn't disclose. Super sketchy, avoid this place.

This is the worst experience ever. I made a reservation for two days and when I arrived they couldn't find my reservation plus customer service never responded. I am currently waiting to see what can be done but so far things don't look good because they came find a reservation!!! Never use it!
