A password manager that I use and recommend. Novice-friendly and very good even in the free version (no blackmailing policies). For advanced users, I would recommend KeePass, but that is not what I'd call convnient for the "normal" people. :) Relja

Great they support open source and self hosting. Platform is very desirable for someone who wants to be OS independent.

From my experience, Bitwarden is a nice, reliable password manager, and I would recommend it to you. I just use it for private use, and I am satisfied with it. I like it better than anything I have ever used. A nice bonus is that they aren't excessive with ads trying to get you to buy premium.

I've been using Bitwarden for many years, and I’m genuinely satisfied with every aspect of it. I rely on all its features — from the desktop and mobile apps to the browser extensions — and they have never let me down. Bitwarden has been a tremendous help in protecting not just my own security, but also in strengthening the security of people everywhere. Its dedication to the open-source community is inspiring, and it’s making a real difference for the safety of individuals and the integrity of our digital world. Without a doubt, this beloved service will remain a timeless icon in the history of security.

All my authenication codes disapeared from the BitWarden Authenticator App when I synced with the Bitwarden Password Manager (after being prompted to sync by a pop up message the app). The codes didn't go into the password manager & I lost access to all of them. Bitwarden have no live chat which was not ideal, as this meant we had to email back & fouth about the issue ...which took days. In the end support were unable to help anyway.
