The fireplace ash-bin I ordered was received broken- the welds/solder points were poorly done and the sides collapsed on itself. We had to drill into the side panels of the bin and screw the sides together. I kept the bin because I didn't want to go through the trouble of re-ordering or getting a refund. Also, the other sites were selling the same item at ridiculously inflated prices.

am glad i have a working remote now but the battery that was included, was the wrong one and I spent 30 min trying to fit that into the slot. Luckily I had the right battery and it worked. Overall a good experience but would appreciate a bit more attention to detail.

Ordered 7 days ago. Was notified that item was in stock and would ship within 1-2 business days and would receive shipping notification as well as tracking info. To date, I have received nothing. Update: Company contacted me same day this review was posted and provided tracking info. Unfortunately, the package sent via USPS was lost. A replacement sent through UPS finally arrived on December 2, 2023. Order was originally placed on Novemeber 12, 2023.

Great price Broken assembly that absolutely could not have happened by customer. I wondered how I could get last years price when no one else was doing it. Now I think I know. In fairness to seller, I didn’t call them over this but still wondering how I could get a unit damaged internally like this

The lid arrived broken. The tiny rivets pulled through the lid when it was bent during packaging. The bucket is of good quality, but for $70 i expected better.

**My rating is for the actual product, not the store that carries it. Terrible, unclear, minimal instructions. To improve: 1. call out there are openings on the lower end of two panels and say what they are for!?, either as handles or ventilation - after I hammered all four panels together I couldn't get it apart to make sure I had a lower opening on opposite ends. 2.!!!!! And this is the main ERROR, is the directions say to put the four panels together, then cut the assembled tin box to fit the pitch of the roof - it would have been much easier to work with one panel cutting and re-cutting it to the proper angle to sit 90degrees/perpendicular to the roof, rather than take the guide on the cardboard box with a fully assembled tin box that has four overlaps of tin at each corner which is not easy to cut through. It should say to work with one panel until the proper angle for a perpendicular fit is achieved then use that to cut the other panel parallel, and then to cut the third panel that sits higher which will be shorter (you cut off a straight plum line the depth of which is the height of the angle on the panels to fit the pitch of the roof. he 4th panel you don't cut as it sits at the lowest end of the pitch at full height. My roof is a 2/12 and 3/12 and the guides on the cardboard were still not accurate to meet existing in field pitch. Also, once I screwed everything into the roof, I realized it does not sit perpendicular, so I had to undo all that work, cut the waterproofing off and struggle cutting down the tin box to meet my roofs pitch. Directions are STUPID. Fast delivery, however box was ripped and product already scratched. Very expensive cheap material. 1 star for being available immediately 1 star for fast delivery 1 star for being what it is (which is what everyone carries but make it extremely difficult to purchase.) **thanks BF for your response, but I’m not an inexperienced diy-er. I practiced architecture for 20years, transferred to transportation engineering and now a construction manager for muti-million dollar projects. I never used one of these boxes before and since I knew it wasn’t returnable I wanted to follow the instructions so that I don’t miss something. Please let the manufacturer know of their instructions short comings. Again, I really do appreciate your responsiveness and company.

Dear Emily, It is regrettable that your experience with the AirJet Continental Chimney Housing was less than stellar. Although most of the products that Blazzing Fire carries are geared to a retail consumer, some are more of a professional nature. To that end, there is little focus on providing clear and concise instructions for installation. We offer these items as a courtesy to our valued retail customers and we are at times the only company to do so. We will forward your concerns to the manufacturer and encourage them to possibly revise their documentation to be more clear. As we find more and more DIY homeowners seeking out products for their homes, we do our best to encourage all of our manufacturer contacts to focus documentation to the end user as well. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to be of service in the future. Best Regards, The Blazzing Fire Team
