Was directed here to apply for a job. There was no job application. There is no record of me applying for any job. This site is trash.

Looks like our job engine and you missed each other at the crossroads - frustrating, we know. Bravado curates roles for sales talent, so if the match isn’t perfect, the app stays quiet. Ping [email protected] and we’ll make sure the right gigs actually show up in your lane.

Bravado is a terrible system for…
Bravado is a terrible system for applicants, especially for any non-sales specific roles. You MUST enter sales information to continue making a profile, if you are not applying to a sales position and have never done sales you cannot continue with your application, they only show you roles that THEY think you are qualified for, you cannot apply to roles that YOU want to apply to, and they ask for personal information like current salary and sales deals that might fall under NDA. I would give this a 0/5 if possible.

Kevin, we're sorry to hear about your challenges on our platform. Bravado is specifically designed for sales professionals, and we realize our focus might be limiting non-sales roles. We take concerns about sensitive information seriously and are here to address them. Would you mind dropping us a line at [email protected] to chat further?

Trash company that just wants to harvest your professional contacts
So you need to create an account with Bravado if you want to "apply" to the job you found online that they are advertising. Annoying, but not uncommon.
However, in order to create a Bravado account, they require access to ALL of your Google contacts. Why on earth would you need that level of access to my information, just to create an account?
If you choose to actually do this, you're then asked to upload your resume. Once that is uploaded, they require you go through your work history, role by role, and provide the name of the specific client, the specific stakeholder, and what specific product you sold them, and when. They try and play it up like potential employers find specific examples of success appealing in their candidate evaluations, blah, blah, blah.
I'm sure there isn't a bunch of slimey sales "professionals" at Bravado NOT poaching my professional contacts or sales history information for their own personal lead gen activities.
Sure, this is probably all legal, but this company is trash, and all they are after is your sales contacts.

We're sorry to hear that your experience with Bravado left you feeling this way. When we ask for access to Google contacts, it's a standard part of the sign-up process to make things smoother for you, but we totally understand your concern here.
As for diving deep into your work history, it's all about helping sales professionals like you stand out to potential employers. If there's anything specific you'd like to discuss or if you have suggestions on how we can improve, we're all ears. Drop us a line at [email protected] and let's chat.

Toxic data mining “community”
Borderline scummy practices, but on the wrong side of the line.
Subscribe to get weird offers by email, be part of a rotten “Wolf of Wall Street”-mindset community, get invited to cult-like events, be asked to share private info from your company for fantasy rewards, when the whole website is a copy of Reddit’s /r/sales.

We're sorry to hear you had a less-than-stellar experience with us.
We're on a mission to fix the broken sales recruitment world. When we ask for data during onboarding of new users, this info helps us match sales candidates with the right companies and jobs, making sure everyone's in the right place to succeed.
Nonetheless, if you've got ideas on how we can do better, we're all ears. Let's chat and make things right. Feel free to drop us a line at [email protected]

Bravado is like the Hotel California
Bravado is like the Hotel California, you can check in any time you like but you can never leave. There is no way to delete your account online and their terms say that you have to give them 14 days written notice to delete your account. Unacceptable. What are they afraid of?
Reply from BravadoFeb 26, 2024
Managing your account should be as simple as possible, and we apologize if you've encountered difficulties. One way to immediately delete your account is via the Bravado Mobile app (through Settings). We are checking of/how it's possible via the Desktop version. If you need immediate assistance with your account, just drop a line to [email protected]

Fake job posts impersonating software companies
I am a recruiter at a software company. Recently a candidate messaged me asking about a sales job posted on Bravado that claimed we hired in Canada, asking me for more information. We do not hire in Canada, are not currently hiring SDRs, and we've never worked with Bravado. This company is fraudulently representing us to the market in job posts that don't explicitly use our name but provide a slightly anonymized version of our company description and founding story and claim the post was created on behalf of us a client. I would strongly urge caution to any candidate applying to the jobs posted on this site. I don't know what would happen to your information if you applied via Bravado, but you would not be speaking to a recruiter or hiring manager at the actual company you think you're applying to in this case.

They spam and send invitation pretending is from other trusted referral
I received an invitation to join Bravado pretending that the invitation was from my University, faking also the sender. A shameful way to hook new subscribers.

That's not the impression we want to give! We're all about authentic connections, and what you experienced isn't in line with our values. We'll dive into this to figure out what happened, Max.
