I was sold a damaged ring with a chipped diamond!!
The buying experience was fine. However the certificate of authenticity I was sent was only an appraisal, it was not certification on the diamond. I took it to have it sized and discovered the diamond was chipped and beyond repair! Three different, major jewerly companys confirmed this. The setting is loose and diamond is chipped. It can not be repired or sized or even reset without risk of destroying the diamond. I was sold a damaged ring!

Had we heard from you within this month time-frame, the item could have been returned for any reason. All the items we sell online go through a rigorous inspection, prior to being shipped. Buchroeders selling a chipped diamond would be an incredibly rare instance. I cannot speak to the competency of the jewelers who sized the ring and it is also possible that they are the responsible party.
